Interesting, not gonna bend over and join just yet, as I'd like to see how skilled you guys are first, but I play Officer Caitlyn with my neighbor/LoL Partner on Uncle Ryze, and we usually duo bottom lane, get my Cait fed ASAP, then I build Boots, 3 pots, Immediate BF, Immediate bloodthirster, zerk greaves, 2 brawlers gloves into 2 zeals into 2 phantom dancers. By this point my partner ryze and I have usually won unless we have a situation like last night when 3 of myteam went afk and him and I got a 2v5 ace, but then couldn't hold the offense and lost cause of it ~.~

Infinity Edge should come first. Getting 2 phantom dancers is pointless when one is decent enough, and you can use the extra slot for a defensive item (after LW, BT, etc. of course.)

honestly... your general build should be something like this if you're playing AD Carry. and this isn't me speaking from a whim, its really whats set in the meta

boots 3 pots (because starting dorans is, 99% of the time, not the best decision), get two dorans blades on your first back with a vampiric scepter, work towards an IE, get a Phantom Dancer, then after this point its situational

situationally the best items to grab that are overall good for you are Bloodthirster, LW, and madreds bloodrazor

sry to sound like i'm some kind of "league smartass" but thats just what people do when you play AD carry. two phantom dancers arent the best decision unless the enemy team is retarded and builds no armor/HP

You're right about 2 PD, often very bad choice to get 2.
Wait what? Madreds Bloodrazor? That item is ENTIRELY situational. Only a few champs really benefit from it.

When I play AD carry I get IE, Berseker Greaves, NO dorans if you're ahead. After IE I either build PD or BT, depending on setup ofc, but I always get both. LW is only viable if they stack alot of armor. Guardian Angel is a must on any carry, so it should be on your list.

But there's other carries that you can build differently. Like Corki and Ezreal.

I wasn't saying Bloodrazor is what you end up always building, but in general its an item that gets picked up more than others. ex. you rarely buy a Hexdrinker on an AD carry or a Banshee's veil, but a bloodrazor is more often.

GA is a must most of the time. there was one occasion that i never WAS dying, so i ended up going another BT instead. in that game the BT was better than the GA because i needed more damage than survivability

I always come out on top of the game with top damage, 100% of the time. Top CS as well, And usually even in kills and deaths, with my assassin partner, the attack speed and full stack damage on BT makes turrets fall like they're butter.

As well the crit rate annd attack speed + AD makes poking champs lolsy.

It works 100% of the time for me and Im only level 19, so **** metagame. Meta game strats are always lame cause it makes every game the same, when I mix things up and dont follow meta game people dont know how the **** to react and I have a considerable ammount more fun with my style.

Edit: At my level of play the jungle is mostly ignored, early bloodthirster allows me to solo dragon, solo every buff, solo all of the jungle and only while Im switching lanes, leaving a lane with 10% HP, going to get red buff and clear a jungle quarter, then come out 40 seconds later with red buff and full HP + more Bloodthirster stacks usually makes me virtually invincible.

I may well swap out the second phantom dancer for a BF Into Inf edge for the crit damage, cause you're right I have been overlooking that despite being fully aware of its benefits. Perhaps double zeal into BF into PD then IE :S. Either way I wont be getting competitive till season 3, till then Im learning and simply having fun, and my builds a faceroll 95% of the time so w.e

Only time you start with a dorans is if you have a support with a heal.

I suggest following the meta until you reach 1600, then do w/e you want since by then you should have some common sense and knowledge of most champs and their capabilities.
