Rural Vermont, this is relatively expected (to clarify, my town is basically at the edge of availability for ANY ISP (we don't even have Comcast available here yet)). Not as bad as it looks, but I'd kill for faster internet. Seriously - I would murder everyone at Vtel if it meant faster internet for me.. Hate those bastards.

just tested my phones speed connection with 1 bar of service and got 195kbps download and 872kbps upload rofl my phones upload speed is better than my home internet connection
