you need to work on the sounds you use. angel fire would be really nice, but it doesn't sound like a piano, it sounds like a cheap electric keyboard made in the 70's.
composing a piece is one thing, but when you aren't recording someone actually performing it you have to get a really good piano sample or it will sound really lame.

whatever. people seem to like Angel Fire, so it MUST be good.
Anyway, Suspension of Disbelief is 140 BPM I think |

I love Banjo Kazooie you just made my morning. I'm gonna go step it.
Edit: Halfway done now... Very good for running man and left hand running man XD Angel Fire is cool and all, but we have enough stepfiles like the one we're probably going to see for it. Ohhhhh a Gerudo Valley remix.... Freezy Peek remix, nice to... Last edited by Xx{Midnight}xX; 01-3-2009 at 01:20 PM.. |

suspension of disbelief iis not 140bpm, after about 10 seconds of 140bpm, the song is way off beat.

dude, I made the song. No offense, but I think I know my own music. After the first shut down it does get off beat, but I made that way on purpose.

People like it because it's fast and has lots of trilly stuff. You have potential as a composer, but your producing stinks. Bender is entirely right - until you get a better sampling, your stuff is going to sound like a sucky midi. Use some articulation. |

The Nintendo Concertos are awesome. They just don't sound great all "midified". I wish you had the original midi files up so I could get the sheet music and play some of them. I love playing video game music on the piano.

And you need to learn to take criticism. Don't get me wrong tho, the compositions are pretty good, just the final product sounds cheap. Quote:
Obviously its not 140 bpm when you made it that way on purpose. So I don't see why you get all defensive when he says it is not 140 bpm after you told him it was.

So there's Piano Etude (Demon Fire), Piano Etude (Gymnastics), Piano Etude (Scorpian Fire) and Piano Etude (Angel Fire). I should try this one on piano too.

wow nobody posts here in like a week and then in one day like seven people posts. To the people who told me I need to learn to take criticism, check out the newer Nintendo Concertos, the quality of those are significantly higher than parts 1 2 and 3. Also, the reason for my "ego" is because the people on Newgrounds can't tell a midi from real piano, so everyone thinks Im REALLY PLAYING IT. Im not gonna tell them I'm not playing it, But it's ok because I never told them I was playing it. And I like the attention. Well, sorry for acting like a douschbag
