I wouldn't say that. Have you seen past conferences? They were quite horrible.

Not a single mention of TV and Sports or whatever was uttered in this conference. But the console has already done it's damage. It's still very much doomed.

They ended the conference really nicely with that last game. Yeah, another FPS, but dang does it look extremely fun.

You forgot Rising is going to be for 360 & PS3, also Twin Snakes (or snake eater I forgot) for gamecube. Remember when Resident Evil was only for PS (save for 2 & 4) and soon branched out to other consoles?

sure it's been on other consoles, but it's only ever been EXCLUSIVE to playstation.

I agree, Titanfall doesn't look like just another shooter. Armoredcore is more exclusive as a mech fighter, and COD is just a rehashed overused "modern" war engine. The infantry fighting looks more immersive and more interesting than COD, since the weapons look more futuristic. The movement looks faster paced without it getting too repetitive, and the environment looks gorgeous. Plus, there is obviously more violence and more versatile gameplay options since they give you the option of using a mech or going pedestrian (plus, did you see that eject/latch on to destroy the other mech? You have to be a self-loathing indie elitist to NOT think that was cool.)

Plus, if you combine armoredcore and COD, you have a completely new game that hasn't been done before. I think you're completely wrong, JM.

Edit: besides, isn't videogaming all about finding a game that interests you and plays well? If other games have had success off of a certain style of play and genre, why not give players more of what they want, but with a spin?
