Whaaaaaaaaat?

Playing MK without fatalities is like playing Soul Calibur.

You know it's fun and all, and you want blood in it, but it's never going to happen.

(EDIT: Not that I have anything against SC, I love it.)

Yeah, I know. This game is going to completely blow.

It's just going to come out really funny when they try to take themselves seriously bringing these two worlds together.

Edit: Well from what I read in an interview from Ed Boon, The MK and D.C. villians will have fatalities, and the D.C. heroes will have brutalities http://www.gamepro.com/news.cfm?article_id=194508

I highly doubt the "no fatalities" thing, though.

It's not like MK.

Let's say for example you were the one who created Superman. Do you really want your character of Superman to have his head ripped off by Sub-Zero? Are you prepared for the fanboy backlash? DC fans are crazy.

They want to preserve the DC characters while still involving them in a fighting game without breaking too many "rules". Such as Superman being able to beat pretty much any fighter there with a single punch.

Ah, I was going off their inital announcement. They had originally planned on just having "finishing moves" that werent necessarily fatalities.

I'm glad they changed their minds on that. Now all they have to do is ditch the silly notion of making the game rated "T" and we are set.
