My Throat Really Hurts :(

Same thing happened to me recently, along with violent coughing and congestion and vomiting. Best thing (i took) Was throat coat tea with honey, dayquil (or nightquil to make you sleep) This nose spray stuff that killed all the snot in my nose, and lots of sleep.

my throat is sore but i don't think i actually have a cold or fever

i feel better now though because i drank a guava juice smoothie from jamba juice and it was AMAZING

it also really helped my throat feel better

u could get a throat numbing spray from walgreens or somethin and that way u could at least eat and sleep without pain.

no, the honey didn't hurt because i was swallowing because i ate other food and it was fine; i'm swallowing right now and it doesn't hurt

i've had enough lemon and honey >.<

i had some lemon juice yesterday and then had some honey afterwards because my neighbor said it would get rid of the bacteria in my throat that's making me sick, but the lemon REALLY stung afterwards and the honey made my throat itchy

You don't want lemon juice alone on your throat thats too strong! It will only irritate things.

You need to water it down hence tea.

Hydrocodone. But nah why not some kind of local anesthetic/menthol solution to gargle down until symtoms clear until your throat is rendered useable, if honey and lemon has become revolting. If there is inflammation, take something to reduce it. Really depends on what may be the cause if it's bacterial or the result of some kind of abrasion.
