Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
6 key will never end up like 4 key where everything eventually becomes a vibrating jack fest
simply won't happen

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Exactly why I love it. At least for now until people are machines at solo somehow.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
is creating a demo as simple as providing a chart and song?

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
At least Solo is starting to pick-up steam and hasn't really picked up a huge stepping-userbase (unlike 4 panel where people just dump 64th streams and such). The current stepartists--Kommi/Malice/SG, other solords, can stop stupid crap from being produced, unlike now where pepole are like "IT'S A DUMPFILE, LEGIT EXCUSE I PROMISE".

I don't mean to offend anyone but we're really the only ones who know how to decently step a 6 key file at the moment, so we should in theory control file quality. Hopefully this will work out.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
I don't like solo because it doesn't have any wrist jacking files.
just saying that so someone will have the urge to step jack files for solo ps, this was pretty cool Last edited by [TeRa]; 08-8-2009 at 11:11 PM.. |

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Sadly you're entirely right, but that **** should be shot down faster than something that gets shot down really fast!

no but really, make tass not a part of judging, maybe until the very extreme end, only if the file is extremely uncalled for. |

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
don't worry everyone starts out sucking at 6key. remember when having 4 keys was new and novel and you were always pressing the wrong button? it's like that all over again but exasperated because you're used to being good. just perservere

I seriously love 6-key though. I wouldn't mind learning how to step it. Hell--I've only stepped 3 files on 6-key and well, Xiao liked one of my files, haha. It just takes time to get used to. Everything flows so good compared to singles, haha. |

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Wow, that's absolutely awesome. I love how the diagonals are on the sides instead of where they are in StepMania. Who made those?
