Hmm... Well, with the SMO pack not going anywhere... I read that we can do whatever we want with the songs for now so... I suppose I can post what I submitted... I doubt that pack is going anywhere soon so... Might as well... These two were meant to be played in SM5. (Lua background animation.)

I've considered making one final pack also, though my idea for one would be a pack of my own simfiles (new ones). I'd step so many things that once I release it, I'll feel like never opening the editor again and can once and for all retire from this game.

However, if you're trying to put together something consisting of peoples best files, I'd be interested in helping an old community friend out. It sounds like this should be done through polling though. Ask the community to decide what files what goes in.

Let me know anything you'd want help with through here or AIM or whatever. I'm sure you still have my AIM

I'm not even talking about a pack where anyone submits to it. It was one purely of my own files, and it was also just a slight thought. I like how you guys shitstorm this out of proportion. gg

For the record, GD, I abandoned those two packs because nobody submitted to them at all, not because I lost interest. I say 5 or 6 submissions in a 4 - 5 weeks time means it isn't going to happen

I don't really want to lead a real pack right now. It's true that I don't make files anymore and I open stepmania maybe once a month. If someone asked me to judge for one they are headlining, I would likely do it, but that's about it.

I should do a pack named Dark Chancellor Pack 2 just to make people mad but nobody would submit anyway because there are millions of other packs going on right now just like there always are.

You make it sound like Stepmania is some kind of curse everyone in the community have been damned by and from which everyone is trying to get rid of.

It's kinda sad really but true. (AFAIK anyway) New song packs are slowly dying/barely being updated/take a while to make... Personally, I blame the current music generation. (Don't like to admit it but, in reality it's the truth.)

No offense intended. However, wouldn't you agree the older generation music was better?

edit: Then again, maybe I am bias because of now these days, most musicians, use digital sounds instead of real instruments to make music. I know there still are some that use real instruments but still... I like older music compared to newer stuff. (with a few exceptions.) My favorite style would have to be disco/swing. Some of the best songs came out of this genre. (IMO anyway.)

edit: Mmm... I am kinda going off topic though here... As for this topic goes, I wish he would make the pack. However, it seem he is not coming back? (disappeared so it seems.)
