i for one do not plan on making a reads lists a day into the game but you can sure as hell ask me about any player you'd like

Red Blaster is acting basically the same way he did last game I played with him..

This may sound weird, but I'm tone reading red blaster and funny grah in roughly the same category in their reactions to Yoshl's thoughts/prodding. There are of course varying degrees of how aggressive the responses are, but I pick up the same feel, which is an earnest green appeal in each case.

jteh, while he's posted, hasn't seemed to post a lot that's actually contributing anything of importance to the game. Same thing with Ben. While I'd like to think that it's just D0 lack-of-information, it rubs me the wrong way when people don't actually contribute useful things.

Hey~ I did contribute a *slight* mini reads list, which is honestly pretty good considering how early in the game it is (and how early it was when I made it) it's nothing substantial, but I am here trying to ping people and read reactions.
Benguina's posts weren't really piecing in as well with other posts and I was suspecting him. However, his recent shifts in posting (sort of tantamount to posting game mechanics but still) is kind of drawing me away from my initial feel but still isn't particularly helpful at this point. At this point, I want to make an assumption that there is at least ONE wolf out there who is trying to actively provide give and take and contribute in a way that puts wolves at least in the midst of important conversation.

I think yoshl is just yoshl.

I'm not going to comment on your other stuff about R because not only is that outside my realm of knowledge but I'm not too sure where it works in here, so I can't use that information. I'm assuming this posting pattern isn't too unheard of out of Yoshl and either way I'm a fan of it so right now I'm not going to fall too hard particularly on Yoshl, but examine all the interactions he's making. It's useful.

Someone mentioned dfr's posts dropping off but honestly, think about it like this. If you were able to keep up a consistent rate with your most active period of posting, not only would you be seen as excessive and run out of English words to use, but it'd just create a mess in the thread. Nothing goes off immediately about dfr's posting pattern.

Wilson, Cry4 are pretty null of course right now, so I don't know what I want to do there and Cold Kitten I really appreciate the last post and if anything I see you're thinking about a lot of different things in the game I'm thinking about, so it's a great start too for me placing you as well. So right now where I'm at, I want to make an attempt to lynch keeping in my mind that some interactions must be being made just to provide the illusion of give and take with important information. That's the reasoning behind my current vote.

I see his logic behind not having a "failsafe" with his soft claim on vanillager. His explanation flows pretty freely to me/no red flags going up.

Can't see anything out of it I'd pursue right now.

how does it flow freely though how does it make sense why would you look at a power role like it's a failsafe that isn't a failsafe that's last-resort damage control

Maybe because dfr and I have really similar inhibitions in the way that we think we could vs. should post. I would imagine not everyone would need some sort of, for lack of better phrase, "confidence boost" or at least something to back yourself on.

Simply possessing the additional power role could psychologically give someone fire in their words and maybe even a nuanced vision of the game that a blue would have since they've been playing the entire game in that mindset.

Some people may think it sounds silly because on the surface, you can always just spit out the same words. but I feel like being something MORE can have a powerful effect on the way someone defends themselves, and particular people would benefit from that more.

Rereading dfr's post about the last game, I find it kind of funny. Before you subbed in, I was planning how I could do the exact opposite. I wanted to stay quiet enough to avoid drawing unnecessary attention to myself so that the wolves wouldn't think I was uber green and go after me. But at the same time, have to convince town I was green so they wouldn't think I was suspicious either. If you're forced to claim your role, you're doing something wrong, so while it could be a failsafe, it also costs the role in the end.
