San Jose needs to play D for minutes 41-60.

Definitely. I'm a weak sauce drinker. Sharks need to play 60 minutes of D against these guys. If they're going to block shots, block it. Don't tip it. And no more dumb penalties. I'm thinking of the Desjardins penalty after he came out of the penalty box and immediately tripped Kesler.

And that, gents, is what happens when you get karma on your tail. 5 straight penalties killed by Vancouver, and then an endless stream leads to 3 5-on-3 goals in 1:55 (a new record) and a 4-2 victory. We're going back to the Phone Booth (or the Roj. Take your pick) for a 5th, and possibly deciding, game.
Also, Sharks fans, I know you'll hate it, but you have to give Henrik Sedin props for totally playing Logan Couture on that Too Many Men call.

Got to give credit to the Canucks for killing the early powerplays. I didn't get to watch it, so I had my friend update me. I got one text saying that the Canucks scored. Three minutes later I got another text, "2-0." One minute later, "3-0." I threw my phone to the back of my car, regained my composure, and was glad I didn't get into a car accident.

Great game Canucks fans. I hope this series goes farther than game 5.

I was building a bedroom with my brother and a couple other people while the game was on but the 17 text message I got throughout the game by different people gave me an idea of how it was going. I have yet to see any highlights but 3 5 on 3 goals? Sharks deserved the loss.

Oh yeah, after 12 hours of assembling furniture, i'm tired. sleep bye

Boy I really missed a lot from being at Chicago all weekend - Vancouver leading series 3-1, Bruins tied at 2-2. But I can't wait to watch the next two games tonight and tomorrow night.

Early start by T-Bay countered by an astounding second period by the Bruins. Topped with the best save of this season. Boston takes the game 3-1 and are now one win away from a Finals berth.

Oh man, some brutal hits in that game. Bodies falling to the ice everywhere. One gripe I had about that game was the ref calling offsides on the Lightning when it was his damn skate that stopped the puck from crossing the line first.

It was explained to me later that the referee is considered part of the field like in football, but if you ask me, it's funnier when the ref in the secondary finds himself being employed as an extra blocker.
