For those with offset issues, just open the song in audacity and delete the silence at the beginning. Makes finding the offset super easy.

-wasn't a huge fan of this file. some parts were either really simple or just full of holdstreams. I'm expecting a bit more out of you :3
You may have noticed that the file was like two difficulties rolled into one: the first loop of the song being more simple than the second (actually the song is actually a single loop, with minor differences at the end of each repetition). Do you think it'd be better if I cut the song in half and separate them into two difficulties?
Any opinion kommi (or anyone else reviewing)?

oh sorry didn't see your post for some reason

ruins of the giant you could try cutting in half yeah. maybe clean up a few of the hold sections to focus on accenting a bit more. just my opinion though.

The buildup snare you're talking about would be one hell of a difficulty spike, yeah? lol I actually contemplated even stepping it, but I'll try something.

Long holds not allowed? I have 2 charts for this, medium and hard, medium being a lot less layered.

Lol can't argue. I'll nuke this one, far too uninspired. Or else I'd have to do a crapload of cutting to make it shorter and less repetitive. nope

I can work on the structure, but are the solo parts accurate tho? I think it'll end up easier than it is atm.

I think I'll nuke this one too.

Thanks for the input, I'll look over them a bit more and try to fix.

Gonna try step some from it but I never ever finish anything so I'll just recommend everyone to check out the soundtracks from Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends. They're are full with awesome and steppable stuff.

I can make easier charts if you want, too. Just tell me.

(also I changed my cdtitle, it's been a long time and I grew bored of that one)

hey, reviews are finally here.

And first of all I want to say that I did the chart according to the rule of : "You can do super-easy or super-hard"-statement.

And I took my bets on the more.. light-weighted stepping!

I have decided that I will not improve or make an upgrade of the chart because I lack the skill and I loose myself in the song.. (yea..) and when a stepper looses himself in his own song, that's a rule you should NEVER break. Regarding how one can loose oneself in their own song is an another topic (look around the forum).

But I think all of the judges gave some constructive critic after all, which I appreciate, and for those who sooo desperately wanted to play this song, I will release it my own pack, which I can say already now will be a very.. easy pack! But, for beginners and for people who also lack the skill of finding the right tempo this pack will be in the que of your download-list!

And when i look at the submissions, the skill is out of my league, but you know, sometimes 76'ers wins against Heat, it's not very often, not very often at all, but there is a chance that LeBron will have a bad day too!

I am happy to found out that armored armadillo-song seems to be from a megaman-game! That I hope, will be a treat for my lightly hairy fingers!

light weight to our standards might be still pretty difficult to others, so I'm sorry if that wasn't very specific. we've all been playing for so many years, 13 blocks on ITG are piss easy to our standards basically if that's any indication.

That's absolutely true. When I made Diavolo, I created a full-charted file with all difficulties so my girlfriend (who was quite the beginner at Stepmania) could play it, and she told me she barely managed to pass what I thought to be the utmost simple difficulty I could make.
When you're used to very very hard files you have to be extremely careful about it when creating easy charts. The feedbacks you can get from less experienced players can be extremely surprising if you don't.

well then, and i thought i was the coolest kid on the street when i finally made through the fire and flames after 130000000000 billion attempts. In relation to the songs you guys are mentioning, ttfaf must be like a f4rt in the ocean then? ( I have always considered ttfaf as the final frontier for my stepping, like an ending-point, the end of the universe, the end of all existence).

Kommisar seems to have stepped BW2 - Colress Theme and plans to (or have) submitted it to the pack.
Is it OK if I also submit steps for the same song?

If the chart is good enough, then it could be added as a collab with Kommi. Collaborations are encouraged!
(EDIT: Sorry for double-post)
