Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
223bpm file hmmm that's a pretty widely used bpm...couldn't be something that's already been charted for stepmania...argh I wonder what it is !!

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
Hmm...can get this on isolation about ~40% of the time (first 2800 notes are fodder)
After taking a closer look at epi v2, I wouldn't be surprised if the cutoff is something like a BF that overflows to 6 spots. Everyone left in D7 can prob get to 2800 with the AAA on a somewhat consistent basis, and I think they're all capable of AAA'ing the drum solo, so I think this is gonna be pretty tight. Just a battle with nerves and who wants it the most |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
@OWA, Well the first 2800 might be 'fodder' to you, but I still have a hard time making it to the solo...think I've AAA'd to it 4 times maybe? Anyways I have about as good a chance of AAAing the solo as I do the first 2800; however, given that I AAA the start, the percentage I have to nail the solo goes to fucking zero rofl
Rowboatummy for D7 final if it wasn't obvious enough btw |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
This was also the case for me. Over half my runs didn't even make it to the drum solo with an AAA intact (that was a problem with my breathing changing in such a way that I got disoriented while playing)

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
Which spots in the first 2800 mess you up? The only part I think people 'might' have trouble with is that section after the long trilly jumpstream around 2300 with the 48th flams, but everything else is pretty straightforward and most of the 32nds are cheatable?
edit: also by people I mean the duders left in D7 at this point Last edited by One Winged Angel; 12-1-2013 at 07:55 PM.. |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
32nds - ezpz
48th flams? - *yawn* the offbeat split jump trill at ~1500? - fucking 1/5 success rate also a small [13][24][13] thrown into the js 250 notes after that part and of course the "long trilly jumpstream part" is about 50%. Basically my left hand is too tense to even trill at 200bpm for some reason when I play this file and I derp all over the place *tear* |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
I don't even care if I don't make it through this round tbh, I'm happy to even make it to round 6 ...last elim tourney I lost in round 3 because my left couldn't do the intro to shotgun surgery at ALL, my PB is still 3-2-0-4 lmao

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
rly...
the hardest part imo is the 2nd to last 32nd burst leading into 24th 23232 trill near the end |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 6
Physically, that is probably the most demanding part yes..but this file is equally (or more) a mental thing for me at this point
