just so you know, stepmania treats jumps/hands/quads as full 'blocks', they're not hit until you hit every note in them
so if you fall behind on one column you fall behind on all of them
just hit moar

I noticed that, but it's not simple for me to "just hit moar". I'm not used to everything that FFR doesn't have.
