Its a free music editing program, so you can also just delete the gap and save it as an mp3 using the LAME encoder, http://lame.sourceforge.net/index.php The reason i haven't done this is because my lame isn't working for some reason |

Just a suggestion for you guys (judges): I think the "good-file" tester need to play +? files as well. Say a file has a random 32nd jack but otherwise is good, although there is a long left handed trill. Shash and JX have no problem with the trill, but obviously want the 32nd jack out. So they both +? it saying to remove the jack and otherwise the file is good. But then in the next batch, after Shash and JX + the file, Tass says, "nuh-uh that trill has to go" and then the author has to revise the file further and get it in the next batch.
Instead of the file taking two batches to get in, it took three, and only because the author didn't get Tass's feedback the first time 'round. So, simply, I think the good file tester needs to play files that both judges give +? or higher, while it may take a little more work for the good file tester (who is playing significantly less files than the other two anyway), it will ultimately get files through the system quicker.

The funniest part of this post is probably the misspelled name.

I don't know what the problem is with syncing songs with constant bpm. It's pointing and centering. You get one right and then you have to fix the other. You keep doing this until it's perfect. Then you ask someone else's opinion (thx again S_B and v4n, for the opinions/help). How's this batch shaping up? Looking good/bad/better than the last batch?

EDIT: Also, if I can get any information on my Small Clone file, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've had several others test the file out and they can find no issues with it to speak of. It's technically an accurate and fun song to play, and I really can't modify anything without making the file WORSE, so can I get any news on that? Also, I just submitted Seikyou OX Keikaku. *sets wristwatch time*

If I remove any jumps, it will remove all sense of rhythm I was trying to create in the file in the first place. Duh

Anybody willing to test my Bundy file? I've stepped it up to the second verse, and it's my first time with unassisted BPM changes.

File is 4 times better than any other file this month. I'd say let those "few extra doubles" slide.

bb evo... from Final Fantasy, a game that is well known, etc etc. dbu songs in rock... from apparently completely random "touhou" that 99% of people have never heard of, let alone heard. not to mention, as Rebirth pointed out, fits much better in Rock. because, again, nobody knows its from a "VG"... i didn't even remember that from my conversation with Rebirth.
as far as Small Clone... i have no idea. whatever the comments say, assuming it isn't a file in the queue. and ask Drugstore for the mp3s. or me, on Thursday when i'm back at my desktop. BDN: Thursday i'll be back.

"From apparently completely random "touhou" that 99% of people have never heard of"? Are you pulling stuff out of your ass again? I've seen communities dedicated entirely to Touhou. In fact, there's an entire Wiki dedicated to Touhou. Look it up on google, and you'll find that not only is it an amazingly popular shooter in Japan, it's amazingly popular here as well. You just haven't heard of it yet. Admittedly, the results for Touhou are a fraction of Final Fantasy's- That's only because it was created by a small group/company/ whatever. I needn't mention Doukutsu Monogatari aka Cave Story. Point wrecked. ps there are twice as many albums and remix albums of Touhou music than there are for Final Fantasy :O Even AKHT's remixed Touhou :P
