Funny, I have you added too Afro, but I never got a registration back.

I just played a new gen wavedasher who was attacking out of his sheild. Don't know how. End result was I chucked my only Gamecube controller at the floor. The controll stick still works, but the entire right side does not.

I'm out of commision till I get a new controller or fix this one.

And what was happening? Was it that he had his shield up and was attacking at the same time? If someone is so blatantly cheating, why be mad over it? I could understand if there were stats recorded on it, or a online ladder (ironic), but frankly, online matches don't ACTUALLY mean anything.

They do, but Nintendo specifically uses that sort of screw because the kind of screwdriver is more difficult to come by.

I actually had a similar predicament, smashed my Wavebird into the ground, and the Z button stopped working totally. Asked about it in the SSBB thread and someone pointed me to a website or two that had screwdrivers for sale. Shouldn't be too hard to find a screwdriver if you need one, but I'd expect fixing the problem could very easily be nigh impossible (particularly if a WHOLE SIDE of the controller is unresponsive).

Might have a hard time finding one since they're out of make now, but the Wii version'd Gamecube controller that either just came out in Japan or will be out soon I believe was set to be retailing for the equivalent of 20$. I think I payed like 28$ for the corded controller I got to replace my broken Wavebird I mentioned above.

Didn't even know it was discontinued. But no worries; I know my local GameStop has some used ones; dont remember how much, though. Then again, it's not me who smashed my controller. xD

I was wondering though, since it was brought up here.
I was thinking of selling my GameCube controllers and using the money to buy some used/new wireless Gamecube controllers. Pretty sure the money I get wont be totally enough to cover the price, so I'll play the difference; which I expect to not be much anyways.

I ended up in Sudden Death with the kid because I managed to doge his Final Smash. But yeah, I lost, too. D;

Definitely going to join more tournaments that allow GameCube controllers instead.
