I've got one that no-one has ever gotten before, mostly because it is completely insane..

You are in a room with no windows or doors. In the room is a mirror and a table. You have nothing with you but your wits. And clothes, don't forget the clothes. How do you escape?

Hint: Homonyms (less effective when typed)

@Icewolf:

1. More specifically, 1961 was a year in the 20th century that read the same upside-down.
It's won't happen again until 6009, a span of 4,048 years.

2. A ton. (Little wordplay here; read backwards, it is not.)

3. A tissue. The water will dissolve the tissue, but it won't break if you throw it from a height, unless something impales or otherwise knocks up the tissue.

@Meth:

Here's what you do.

You look into the mirror. You take what you saw, and use the "saw" to cut the table in half. Two halves make a "hole", and you exit through the "hole."

Correct but you misspelled "whole".

I guess the homonyms thing was a pretty big hint.

I didn't misspell it. I deliberately put it in quotes with that spelling to show the wordplay.

Yep, you got them, but the first two were already answered. (As you already know)

New Riddle: Einstein's Riddle:
Einstein has been widely credited online with the following riddle, and with the claim that 98% of the world could not solve it. But if you are patient enough, you should be able to solve it.

There are 5 houses in 5 different colors in a row. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same beverage. Other facts:
  1. The Brit lives in the red house.
  2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
  3. The Dane drinks tea.
  4. The green house is on the immediate left of the white house.
  5. The green house's owner drinks coffee.
  6. The owner who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
  7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
  8. The owner living in the center house drinks milk.
  9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
  10. The owner who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
  11. The owner who keeps the horse lives next to the one who smokes Dunhill.
  12. The owner who smokes Bluemasters drinks beer.
  13. The German smokes Prince.
  14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
  15. The owner who smokes Blends lives next to the one who drinks water.

The question is : Who owns the fish?

The german

The answers I got here
Nationality: Norwegian
House: 1st yellow
Drink: water
Pet: cats
Cigar: dunhill

Nationality: Dane
House: 2nd blue
Drink: tea
Pet: horse
Cigar: blends

Nationality: Brit
House: 3rd Red
Drink: Milk
Pet: Birds
Cigar: Pall Mall

Nationality: German
House: Green 4th
Drink: coffee
Pet: fish
Cigar: prince

Nationality: Swede
House: white 5th

Now, I could be wrong, because I wrote this on two pages, with a lot of notes and clues. I could have easily confused myself.

As far as I can tell, the german has the fish. However, you have to make an assumption, since you can't prove he has the fish, but only show everything else has been taken by someone else ;p

Is the last question one of those things where you make all the boxes in a chart to try and figure it out? We had to do things similar to this in freshman math.

Heres one I just wanted to put out there.

I'm not dead but I don't live
I'm convinced I don't need sleep but I still do it
I see many squares as I look throughout the day
I can't see others but only those that don't exsist

What am I

Not dead but an average american never lives life.(Sits on the computer or couch)

I'm convinced I don't need sleep but I still do, 98% of america uses coffee or some other source of energy to wake them up instead of having a full nights rest.

I see many squiares as I look throughout the day, 95% of america spends a majority of thier day either watching a TV, a computer screen, or some kind of machine.

85% of americans are oblivious to everyone and everything. Instead we're addicted to cartoons and screens of things that aren't they but could be thousands of miles away. Most of the time though it is a cartoon or animation also meaning a video game.

An average american.
