Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
I haven't played that in forever haha, I just kinda don't like the idea of going through the whole song just for the VERY ending which is the only part that matters =/

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
lol, it's not the ONLY thing that matters. It just takes practice. I have the star power path down pat too. The only reason my current score isnt owning you is because i for some reason strummed in the middle of one of the last long star powers, breaking my multiplier and wasting my last star power use.

It's the only part that's even remotely hard to FC, I meant...SP paths are only a matter of looking up stuff, unless you're going for 1st.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Holy **** you guys are good at this game :O
Are there any tips for getting better besides practising ? Also got a couple of questions: - I got huge problems with 4 note stream hammerons, it looks like you need to strum on the first and the last note which is hella confusing.. ? Or can you actually do 4 notes in a row with them? - I haven't tried pulloffs yet, do you guys use that often ? - Do you often stay with your fingers on the frets for stairlike patterns ? e.g: green red yellow blue yellow red green. It feels so weird to me :/ - And my most important question: is there any sort of "rule" for using a certain finger on a certain fret ? I mean, I always have my fingers either on top 4 frets or bottom 4, but sometimes I find some patterns like yellow - blue/orange - yellow - blue/orange pretty tiring.. Should I just learn to move my fingers all over the place or should I stick to some stiff positions ? |

Yeah, Ho's and Po's are hard to be without sometimes, but you shouldnt try and use them for every song, cause you might miss notes

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Yes, in the chorus, the notes are slightly too far away from each other to use hammerons, you have to strum every note.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
It's only a hammeron or pulloff (is the term even pulloff? it sounds wrong) if the first note has a black ring around it (like all single or double notes) and the ones after it are left with a white top, without the black ring. It's hard to explain, but just pay attention to that next time.

I just need to submit more scores. And my Mother score i posted is crap. I had a 220k run earlier but didnt get a pic and quickly quit before i realized it was my best run. *sigh* The one I posted is the only one under rank 500... *sigh* But 5* on six, I totally was not expecting that today And i know Ive got a long way to go on that song too. But still, 5* is nice. And im only 6k from Priest on MiaB! I was so surprised |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
uh well when you have an FC on anything you shouldn't expect to be more than 10k off of first unless your SP path is garbage^2
and yeah I'm pretty proud of my 88 rank or whatever, and my all-ranks-under-300 status EDIT: gl retaking MiaB lmfao now for SatD, which I don't even need to FC to beat you on hehe EDIT2 oops I did it anyway rofl owned Try some other stuff =D

the game is like a kinda bad version of FFR with the dualshock
exceptions: CfH in GH1 and LTMR in GH2
