Re: Ingame Song Information
I know I'm being dickish about this, but getting rid of the spaces and adding a period would get rid of a character as well as fixing the grammar.

Re: Ingame Song Information
Im Sick of Uprock -> This is the original song name, so leaving this as it is.
Torinouta -> fixed for the consistency of Japanese songs Of course you Need and .. NEED ME -> didn't know there's a grammar issue on this. fixed And yeah I know we need to do something about genres, especially dance and misc are getting ridiculous. ps also, can someone write current top xx things? |

Re: Ingame Song Information
I'm on it, JX. Calculating all of the TPS counts for all of the FGOs, and I'll have them rearranged. None of the new 11s are going to pass FotBB, but I will check Of Course ... NEED, etc.
EDIT: looks like Sara ninja'd the first half that I had finished, but I'm about halfway done with the TPS counts |

Re: Ingame Song Information
I don't know how Halogen is calculating taps/second, but I would like to do it like this: (30 * number of arrows) (last frame of arrows - first frame of arrows + 1). This way the number of empty frames before the first arrow doesn't matter. I think this would change up the counts a bit. Also we should definitely consider some of the higher FMOs for the list.

Re: Ingame Song Information
I'm going to go ahead and say that Reality's average TPS is incredibly deceiving, as the 77s figure takes into account the empty intro. Take off the 10 second radio announcement (or whatever) and you get 921 notes/67 seconds = 13.75 T/S, which is in line with most of the other FGOs listed. ERB has the same deal, but it's less noticeable because the intro takes up a lower percentage of the file's length. True, busting out a list like this is incredibly repetitive and draining--I know this from experience--but QQ does have a good point.

Also, I didn't include the 11s because I was pretty sure that none of them would make it onto the top 10 list anyway -- you've got to be moving pretty quickly to get that high up. Quote:

Re: Ingame Song Information
Sprite and I would usually update the FAQ with the current list of secret songs but we're just gonna put a link to this thread instead. With that said, I added Voodoo People to the list. I also put in the page links for the songs that didn't have them. I hope you don't mind.
On a side note... I don't know about you, Jimerax, but I get a slow response and sometimes database errors that require some refreshing to get past when I make edits to the OP. You may want to consider some way of breaking it up to have less characters. I ran across this problem with the pseudo token thread. The OP eventually contained so much information that I couldn't edit it. I had to break it up into multiple posts. It seems you may be getting to that point here. |

Re: Ingame Song Information
Voodoo People is really hard for a 9 (lots of minijacks and some trills with jumps). I'd say it should absolutely be a 10. We'd need to wait a while to see how people are doing on it, but to me it is absolutely too hard for a 9.

Re: Ingame Song Information
I thought it was a 9, IMO. Just be consistent. And if you don't like left-handed minijacks, you can always mirror and try the converse.
