Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
1.89 is what's up. I'd try to get more AAA's but I'll try again some other time. Kinda too shaky after that Abtrusity AAA that I lost at the very end. That and losing ANOTHER one at the end of XP Sounds Attempt. x.x

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
Abtrusity can be tricky at some places. Try AAAing the song WITH avmisses - that'll really get you shaking with anxiety! x(

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
Thanks guys =] If you guys wanna AAA End Night, do it on the Velocity engine where it's easier because it's off sync! x.x I think an offset of 1 will do it.

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
Yeah, End Night is slightly offsync, but Velocity's engine should do wonders. Congrats on that AAA btw.

Velocity's engine allows you to offset songs..?

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
It does now. Too bad I can't find a standalone for his engine (flash 8 standalone preferably).
The original FFR engine doesn't have this feature, but I can play without lag using the standalone. I guess I have to settle with vice versa if I play Velo's engine online. (Gamebooster didn't appear to work for me tho) |

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
I wouldn't consider AAAing a 10 to be an amateur score ....

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
Performance may vary though. I get lag spikes on flash 8. Flash 9 runs a little bit better but not even close to as smooth as the regular engine on flash 8 does. I do hope to see AAA's from the offset feature though.
EDIT: Yeah you might wanna use GameBooster if you have it.

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
I've just tried it and you're right: Velo's engine on flash 8 lags fairly often (not crazy often, but enough that it affects your performance), while FFR's engine on flash 8 doesn't. At this point, I definitely will experiment more with Gamebooster.
Lol I need a download for a flash 9 standalone now. Will compare afterwards. Thanks again for helping me optimize my performance. In the future, hopefully offset can be implemented into the main engine, since the main engine runs smoothly on standalone. I'll see if Gamebooster can help achieve relatively the same level of performance. Last edited by bmah; 11-29-2010 at 02:45 AM.. |

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
Holy sh*t so they got rid of ALL the Synth files and made them token songs...
I lost 35 AAA's and 55 FC's, I was 5 away from 200 AAA's and about 5 away from 400 FC's, now I'm extremely behind, that's completely f*cked up...
