I have to fake my way through all of Vaseline lol, I can't do the rhythm and it's pretty much the same the entire song.

Interstate Love Song has a really similar drum chart - but I like it.

I think it screws me up when (say) it's one then double 8ths continuously and then there's the peddle mashed unevenly during a few of them.
But attention span could be it.
Or maybe I could practice for once instead of just giving up if I screw up on a song.

More confirmation of a Wii port coming sometime.

http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/28/o...ill-cant-save/

"Update: As some of you have pointed out, it appears that the microphone's packaging says its for PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360, which would certainly be an interesting development, given that we still haven't heard anything official about Rock Band for the Wii. More on that as we get it."

Gah my blue drum finally died. Actually, if I hit it too hard, it registers as me hitting yellow, blue and green.

Luckily, stand alone drums come out soon. Reinforced stand alone drums.

The beats that really get to me are like the one in Move Along. The kind that require really fast one handed hits, and are really sporadic in rhythm. I can't handle them with the bass, let alone with it. I know what I have to play, I just can't get my hands to keep up.

It's funny - even though I'm actually a drummer, my stamina really blows in Rock Band. Possibly because I play a lot of metal beats which require huge bass dexterity but only little rushes of speed for hands as far as fills go.

I experimented with the sock/rubber band drum-fixing technique and it seems to work well, although my sock and rubber band were poorly-equipped for the job (way too fluffy) and my drumsticks kept getting stuck in the fabric. So I'll buy some thinner socks and better rubber bands and it will hopefully work great.

That sounds like softening the drum-hits... not a fix. I'm curious though. Explain yourself!

It stops the other drums from triggering because it softens the blow of the drum stick, muting the vibration via the sock so that you don't have accidental triggers.

So after playing a bit a Rock Band Guitar (Expert) online with my GH3 controller, I decided to go try out the RB controller again. And you know what I noticed when I started playing?

The strum bar is broken. Can't strum down properly. It doesn't play. Only plays up. I first noticed this when I was in the main menu, and I couldn't move down. Since I'm not willing to buy another RB controller, I'll stick with the GH3 controller. I MIGHT ask for a replacement if I feel like it.

My friend had his strum bar broken as well...So I just brought my GH3 guitar. I played for my first time actually this weekend and I started on expert and played through the guitar no problem (GH3 experience I guess?) and then tried drums, played expert on those...without finding much difficult at all, really. The only problem I noticed was that the drums wouldn't register rolls properly? Might just be his kit of course.

It doesn't register rolls because there aren't any rolls in the game. When the track drummer does a roll, it's often just one snare hit or some eighths. There shouldn't be anything you can't do without rolls, though.

Nope. Just a chat mod that posts on the forums bunches.

Also, trying the sock method today if my car passes inspection. If not, I have to rely on my brother/mom/friends to cart me around, and then I probably won't be able to convince them to take me to Wal Mart to buy padded socks and industrial rubber bands.

I really want this. My friend has it for Xbox 360 and I want to get it for PS2. It is such a fun game!! I hope my mom will let me get it!

The PS2 version is severely gimped. You'll still have a really, really great time, but you'll be missing out somewhat.
