I see the appeal and I always enjoy AGDQ but I just can't get in the mindspace of every thing I play is for beating super fast.

It's why I try to keep a lively conversation going when I play stuff on Twitch because God know I'm going at the game at the same pace anyone else would.

Speaking of which are you hyped for Xenoblade?

Actually, Metroid in general is really good for speedrunning. It just feels more catered towards that. (What with an actual TIME being included at the end of each playthrough of whatever Metroid you're playing)

one of my favorite metroidvanias, it's so goddamned good

the downside is that I accidentally brought it up in a conversation with one of my labmates who also liked castlevania and had to skillfully talk around the whole bunnygirl thing

I played a little but was just leaving the first town when my Wii started messing up. I had decided to grind right out the gate for like 10 hours after getting the girl to join my party
