ATTN: everyone

You're all wrong.

Now shut the hell up and have a decent conversation about Brawl.

Zero tolerance from here on out.

EDIT for latecomers: I just deleted several dozen posts, and this is in reference to those, not what is currently showing.

today i will finally finish all-stars with everyone >_> it took me a long while because i usually play 3 characters a day and then play some on-line matches and then play some other games.

but seriously all-stars was really annoying here in brawl

I got brawl when it came out got all charas and stages and most unlockables and stopped playing. haven't played in 3 weeks. what a shame, really... I got SMG when it came out, got 62 stars, stopped playing. Haven't played it in months...

So I think I should play some today

His name is Metroid.

Still working on 100%ing this game but there's SO MUCH **** to do I doubt I'll ever pull through. I only have three or four more challenge windows to go.

While fumbling around in Item Switch for no good reason, I discovered that you can Item Switch capsules, barrels, party balls, and crates, and rolling crates. I remember in Melee this wasn't possible as you could only remove Party Balls, but it's no longer the case here.

So basically, the argument that items make a match unfair because capsules / boxes can explode on you is moot. You can item switch all the explosive items, pokeballs, smash balls, assist trophies, and other nonsense away and just play with Beam Swords, Star Rods, Mr. Saturns, what have you.

Now we can all embrace items! Right...?

...You're kidding, right?

Y'know, I just realized that I really don't have many qualifications to even be in this thread at all, seeing as how my only Brawl experience was three minutes of Classic Mode at Best Buy with Snake. <_< I suppose this is where I take my leave, until I actually manage to pick up Brawl for reals. Peace.

I more or less meant it sarcastically. I know nothing I can say will make tourneygoers understand that items are not the root of evil in this game. I just wanted to let people know that the main concern for removing items is no longer a factor in Brawl. I'm still curious to hear a legitimate reason for still keeping items off now that I've said that you can remove capsules and crates all together. And by items I mean the non-cheap ones that I stated earlier.

I just can't play the game without items. It's so boring. I can't do it.

Also, halfway done with All-Star with all characters. I already got the duplicate trophy I mentioned (getting Sheik and ZSS in co-op just for the trophy list while using Samus and Zelda in single player for the character requirement). And yes, since I still have no people here to play Brawl with, I did co-op alone.

Eh, the only reason I can gather is that items still make things "too unpredictable" or some jazz like that. I agree that SSB is really dull without items, but yet, there's something to be said for a raw test of skill between two(-four) players. Takes different strokes, I suppose. I'll play either way, but I can't stand to play without items for more than two consecutive rounds.

Yep, you're Awaiting Registration too.

You've been that way for several weeks. As has almost everyone else.

Even if we're on at the same time, it won't work because we're still "Awaiting Registration".

I don't know why the names that are not "awaiting" are there. As soon as I registered people, I dropped offline. I physically took my WiFi down. And the next time I plugged it in, they're registered.
