Ya, there is an amazon.com even more special limited edition that includes a clock, but I don't care about a clock, just the lunchbox for work.
Also, on Tuesday I plan on buying The Darkness and Lost Odyssey. Both pre-owned (buy one get one half price) and with some saved up points I'll be getting Lost Odyssey for £14 (~$28) and The Darkness for free. These games good though, or does anyone have any views on why I should look for different (similar) games? |

Darkness is pretty fun, get to do some cool ****, I think it's comic book based. Never finished it though. For free its a good deal. Have you played Crackdown? That was an awesome game in my opinion, kind of a GTA with a few super abilities game.

I haven't had an Xbox 360 very long to be honest. I own:
GTA IV Halo 3 Eternal Sonata Blue Dragon Assassin's Creed Tony Hawk's Project 8 Top Spin 3 So any other game you can be sure I haven't played. At most I'll have watched a review at gametrailers or something. I guess my main question would be that if I looked for Crackdown would it be worth getting over The Darkness? |

Depends on game preferences more, I'd check out a couple vids/reviews.. Darkness is FPS, more impressive graphics, demons that eat hearts, minions, cool hellish/demonic stuff like that, slightly linear. Crackdown is a third person shooter, gradually increasing abilities (jumping [30ft+], run speed, driving, accuracy, explosion size), much more free roaming, like 800 collectible things (think packages in GTA but everywhere). I'd pick Crackdown over The Darkness but I'd recommend looking into it yourself first, not everyone likes it.
Other games to look into, maybe... Beautiful Katamari (just another Katamari) and Dead Rising (essentially Dawn of the Dead) but both can be repetitive. Mass Effect is good stuff too. Skate is fun if you like skateboarding, interesting controls that reinvent the skateboarding game and can make it bull**** hard if you can't get the hang of 'em. Then may as well mention the other big hitters Call of Duty 4 (good single player, stellar multiplayer) and Gears of War (not a fan *shrug*). |

Also, my preferences are RPGs but I tend to take notions to try other things like FPS or whatever when I want them. Quote:

In response to is Jericho good:
Yeah I have to agree with Gano, I'm a big fan of Clive Barker's books but I have to say the game got pretty bad reviews all round. Shame really. |

I agree. Clive Barker's books are excellent, but Jericho was a disappointment.

It's hardware failure...unless you can replicate circuits and took Comp Sci III in University I doubt you can at all...not to mention it voids your warranty if you open up your Xbox for any reason.

There is some supposed temp. fix for RROD, something about letting your 360 run hot then wrapping a towel around it. No idea.
But no there isn't a fix, gotta deal with Microsoft's smiling faces. They'll fix your 360 free within 3 years of purchase if you get RROD, just gotta register it online or something. |
