Plus, since I just checked player posts
He's a veteran. I'd give Lights more of a pass than Freezin who should know better

Re: TWG 206: Betrayal at House on the Hill GAME THREAD
That was a lot to read. I work a full time job and have a lot going on, i'm only going to be able to check this thread a couple times a day. If thats enough to incriminate me, so be it, though I think you might find me to be rather useful to keep around c:

Re: TWG 206: Betrayal at House on the Hill GAME THREAD
wait, at this point there are several people who are likely to get replaced or kicked out if they don't post, and the day ends in a few hours
would it ever make sense to force an instalynch to save the people who haven't posted enough?

I don't think it's incriminating; you just haven't given everyone else very much to work with (which is totally understandable given the circumstances)

I have no vote to place because I dont think theres enough information to cast an informed vote. just voting for the sake of it risks voting out a townie (most likely outcome) for a pot-shot at hitting someone evil. the odds aren't in our favor voting right now, so I will abstain until we have something to potentially work with.

Re: TWG 206: Betrayal at House on the Hill GAME THREAD
I will remind new players again a vote is a good thing and flipping *someone* is in our best interest. Don't be afraid of hitting a town player. More likely or not, a D0 ends with a town flip. It's incredibly unlikely to hit a wolf right off the bat.I have no vote to place because I dont think theres enough information to cast an informed vote. just voting for the sake of it risks voting out a townie (most likely outcome) for a pot-shot at hitting someone evil. the odds aren't in our favor voting right now, so I will abstain until we have something to potentially work with.

Which is why I refuse to vote. This is a numbers game, the more townies we keep alive the longer we have to nail down the bad guys. I'm not convinced by your suggestion alone that it is in our best interest. If anything I find your proposal that we need to vote a townie out to be rather suspicious.

Re: TWG 206: Betrayal at House on the Hill GAME THREAD
Thinking about it, I believe i'll be voting for Charu unless you can convince me that voting for the sake of it could possibly help us. i'll take a silent townie that talks when it matters over someone encouraging a worst-possible odds gamble that will likely lead to us losing a townie that we don't need to.

Re: TWG 206: Betrayal at House on the Hill GAME THREAD
If you read all of the thread, do you have a list of players that you wouldn't want to vote / would? Do you have players you think are playing better then others?
Why would I save them if they aren't playing the game?
That makes sense, but in practice we've observed that until people have to make a stand and vote it's almost impossible to figure out intent.Which is why I refuse to vote. This is a numbers game, the more townies we keep alive the longer we have to nail down the bad guys. I'm not convinced by your suggestion alone that it is in our best interest. If anything I find your proposal that we need to vote a townie out to be rather suspicious.
If we don't kill (I think nokill is on, it could be off this game) then in the night wolves kill a town, and then what? No one had to make a hard stand, so we still don't have any info past that whoever died wasn't a wolf. It leads us no where. So then what, sleep again? Wolves kill another town and we're 2 down and oops, no one had to make a stand because "not enough info" and we're back on d0 with a horrible ratio of town vs wolves
Lynches yield info
Keep in mind that we win as a team: if someone does d0 but their team wins, they get the W too. We're not forcing someone to lose the game this quicklyComment

Re: TWG 206: Betrayal at House on the Hill GAME THREAD
There's something called wagonomics that I wasn't gonna explain until next day phase (if I'm still around!)Which is why I refuse to vote. This is a numbers game, the more townies we keep alive the longer we have to nail down the bad guys. I'm not convinced by your suggestion alone that it is in our best interest. If anything I find your proposal that we need to vote a townie out to be rather suspicious.
Basically, it's taking peoples votes into consideration when we do have a flip. For example, you voted for me and players followed suit. I am then flipped town. Next day phase players can take that info and deduce if your reasons from the previous phase was sincere.
Does that make sense?
