It might be a really good idea to use the R1 Actual Difficulties thread alongside with this new Tier Point update; have the R1 difficulty OP updated so that you can just choose the 100 top songs from there, and then go from there.

I've seen some of the TP list in its preliminary stages, and I have to say, it looks really good. =)

I hope Rebound keeps up the good work there.

It's the top 120 songs for the new TP list. Which means very few VCs, there's over 100 FMO+FGO files in-game now including the support tokens (though of course support tokens and vRofl won't be included).
I think all the files were already picked, just reqs being made.

Yeah--Rebound's been making the requirements for a while now. They look really solid. A Tier 0 is REALLY gonna mean Tier 0 this time around, haha.

I think I'll have a higher percentage of the tier points on the new list than I do on the current. Most my bad files are the older files due to mental blocks from when I whored them when I was worse or something. That and FFR having much more jack files now, jacks being my forte and all. Well, then again the current list has a ton of files we'd be dumb for not having AAAd, so who knows.

Damn it's been so long since the last list update, I'm so excited for this.

It gives all the veterans of FFR another reason to play.

Let's see if everyone who was in T0 before can get back up there again. I probably won't be able to get it this time, with all of these jack songs.

Reqs don't need to change quite as drastically as I think Rebound's going to change it IMO. Adding 100 FMO/FGO's doesn't do anything to make the list better because it actually makes the list less diverse.

The current list accounts for both PA and speed on a wide variety of songs. Besides a person going for T4 Isn't going to be FMO PA'ing material. The new List should be a selection of songs from VC-FGO range. There certainly could be less VC's on it, but nearly taking them out entirely I think is a big mistake.

T4 will be comprised mainly of people who mash out Fc's on the FMO/FGO's instead of the people who actually take the time to PA the VC's. The list needs to be looked at from the bottom up as well as from the top down. Instead of taking out all the VC's take out maybe 5 of them, and pick more diverse FMO/FGO songs from what's currently in the list. Frankly, Club and AIM Anthem are almost the exact same chart theres no need to have both on the list.

Just diversify the song selection when the list is made. We don't need 10 FMO's that measure jacking speed alone. You guys in T0 are happy because it extends your playing abilities, but it alongside that, it will most likely hurt the objectiveness of the lower tiers.

I agree with this. Putting the top hundred songs on the list was a good idea when the 100th hardest song was a mid-high VC; I think now we definitely need either more songs (all songs that are /5 or higher by the current TP rubric) or a selection of the sufficiently hard songs. I think the TP list has been a lot smaller in the past, so there's no real reason not to keep increasing its size.

My take on the current tier setup, and what your going to make for the new one.

I consider myself a medium player (FC'ed FMOs, AAA'ed some 8s, SDG some 9s) and the tiers right now pretty much look like "If you cant SDG 10s, gtfo".

I understand it was made for high-leveled FFR players, but maybe a tier V/VI would be acceptable just to allow more people onto the list. Why not let some of the lower-leveled players compete too?

There's also a large gap in between tier points for a song. It starts out something like 'Obtain a FC' (easy enough) but then goes to 'Get 15 or less'?
That's a huge jump, and something in between these two would be acceptable. Maybe a 'Clean FC' (no boos, obtain a full combo) could be placed in between PA'ing and FC'ing.

Adding more options for more people would be beneficial to the medium-high players, and wouldn't effect high-leveled players. (They would all go right past this point line)

Then don't complain. Gaps that seem being made reasonable compared to the song. It's not like DP will be from FC to 20 goods for next point. Some songs are just that easy.

Okay guys it's coming! I'm adding all of the tier point updates now. MANY thanks can go to Byron (i love you) for spending countless hours creating the list, and Jimerax for analyzing and fixing it. Right now I am only adding songs to the list, I am not deleting any. Therefore, the total point count will be incorrect until we delete the songs that are not supposed to be there. Jimerax will be doing that hopefully sometime soon. The tier requirements will be announced shortly after that as well. Enjoy your short time having lots of points :]

Who knows...I've pretty much given my all on every song too--I should be decently close to what the T0 will be this time around. I know for sure I'm not lower than T1, haha.
