Head over to the Artist Permissions forum section for all the details on how you can get your music into the game.
You'll be able to ask for help, and hopefully find out if anyone is interested in immediately stepping your tunes.
The snare is emphasized @ 200 a little too much, sounds like a tom, needs a clap overlay at 0:23 if you're going for punchy
Adjust the sub at the climax, it's low enough that it's under 45 which makes it near impossible to hear and just muddies up the mix, fighting frequencies with the kick and leaving the sense that there's no bass at all beyond that kick. add another sine at an octave up and make it stronger than the lower sub or add some distortion and cut out above 100 but make sure you level it
12000+ is a little piercing to the ears, might turn that down just a tad
Nice mix though, your treble is nicely done and the tune itself is rockin
also, I attempted FL studio again. I "legally" upgraded to FL studio 11. cough. anyway this is what I got ! I wish I could make better intros https://soundcloud.com/dist-5/saevio
Bringing this back, cause:
1: I commented on changes in SC itself, so just read the comments there.
2: This is dope, but could be doperererer.
Edit:
I remember reading in an Infected Mushroom interview one time that one good way to soundcheck mixing and mastering is to export it @ 192kbps (the most prominant bitrate to those that don't know what a bitrate is) and play it through earbuds
We could put different people in charge of different things. I don't know what relevance it would have to FFR other than the fact that we are all users.
Or it could be like a community pack, where whomever (whoever?) wants to participate can each make their own sample pack of whatever the hell they want, then at the due date put them all together and release it.
ps ormix you stuff is always dope release an ep on a netlabel already i want crabon ep right now!
you answered why I have yet to make an ep with your question lmao, but yeah I *would like* to make carbon 1-7 but so far I'm dragging my feet already trying to make an intro into carbon 2 lmao
I was making an ep before the carbon concept but I ended up only making 2 songs half ass (greek island and inside out) and releasing them so I put that project to the side till I have the time and creative energy to bring it back up
but yeah we all feel "unmotivated" some times - I find that I am most creative and even motivated when I'm not in front of FL studio but developing an idea mentally instead of producing on the spot. most of my stuff is experimental but I find it can be more fun when your working around an idea were some thing in reality influences your choices of the what you do and why.
