Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I got a USB WiFi connector because I had connection problems this past week. Someone was practically giving me the GSC starters for one Abra with a Thick Club attached, but the connection kept getting ****ed up and the trade never went through.
But yeah, if anyone wants to show me their Event legends, I'm game. I can just look on GTS for them afterwards, assuming they count for Dex entries. I do prefer the Trade-then-Trade-back method. I got Palkia recorded as obtained that way. I got lots of Pokes, including pretty much all of the PokeRadar ones from Diamond, and I'll be willing to offer any of them.

You can pretty much find it anywhere that sells video games, even Target.

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I found this little tidbit on Serebii's forums. It's a simple guide to evolving Pokemon that need to be traded without ACTUALLY trading. It's useful if you have no one to trade with or if you're impatient.

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Played for 5 hours so far. Fun game. Only using 3 pokemon:
Penguin (started pokemon whatever it's called) - Level 23 (second form). Luxio - Level 18, finally learnt an electric attack. Psyduck - Level 10, had to haha. Apart from that I haven't seen anything that has taken my fancy. |

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I've been using my strong pokemon, which are mainly my favorites:
Empoleon lvl 64 Regigagas(sp?) lvl 70 That's basically about it but since I am migrating the starters over to pearl from Sapphire(Had to start over because some chick started a new game on it herself)I'm training them so they can get stronger.

Crud. I looked again on Serebii and Ghastly can't learn Onimous wind. =(
Anybody have a Haunter or Gengar? Or a Snorunt♀? Edit: Looked a few posts up, I think I'll try that. What's an impossible to get pokemon that I should ask for?

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
The best way to find a female Snorunt is to use a male Pokemon with Cute Charm (i.e. Jigglypuff, Clefairy, or Lopunny) at the front of your party and use the Pokeradar on Route 216, 217, or Lake Acuity. If you do manage to find a Snorunt, the Cute Charm ability will increase the likelihood of finding a female.

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I've been playing this game nonstop since I've got it about a week ago. I love how there are new places to discover that are often tucked away from normal sight. For example, I started surfing and somehow ended up at this place called Fuego Ironworks (behind the flower fields). That place had some nice wild pokemon to catch like Floatzel.
I have a quick question about the Mansion near the great marsh. On either side of the mansion are maids that are blocking doors; they say that the areas behind them are "secret and off-limits." What are they hiding? |

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I think those maids are hiding the Pokemon that the butler adds to the Mansion's Trophy Garden. It's the only logical explanation.
Also, Snorunt can be found both in the area outside the lake and by the lake itself. You have to Surf across the lake to get to the grassy areas.

Re: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
You could have bred the Riolu and traded that instead. Just look on GTS for another Riolu. Lucario is actually a GOOD Pokemon to have.
EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out what you meant by that. Still, get another Riolu. Seriously.
