Yeah, I started a new warrior on Windia and I'm assigning Dex points properly.

One question. I know, Dex=Level*2, but is there any time to cap that or should it stay that way till I finish playing?

You should be good at 100 DEX points. I heard you really don't need anymore after that (you'd reach that at lvl 5x at a +3 STR +2 DEX rate). I was weak on DEX at lvl 30, but now I'm all good (gained 3 lvls and put everything in DEX).

Becoming Spearman (or are you already)?

Verr, I'm a fighter. I've been fighting Jr. Sentinels to level because I can't hit regular/fire/ice sentinles, and now it would just take forever to keep doing that =/

Ehh...

I'm sure we all have seen that video before. It's like the top result for a google video search of "MapleStory."

Funny thing Noah said about that video: The GM hitting for that much wouldn't even one hit Crimson Balrog.

Also, Verruckter, do you play in Bera? And if so, what's your name?

No, most of us have ONE guy over 30. Only a couple of us have two over 30. Nobody has any more than that. The majority of us stick to one character and get them as high as possible. The only reason Afro and I are 58/60 and other people are only 30something is because we started last summer and everybody else started later. It's not a big deal to be high leveled, it just takes time and patience.

You're only 15, you're doing fine. The amount of money you get goes up every level as you fight harder stuff that drops more money and better stuff. Besides, Robby has a 4x I/L mage to help fund his sin and gets help from banditcom, too. He actually doesn't have that many mesos considering all that. Also, the number of mesos you have is not a huge deal. I have over 12 million right now, but I don't think Jason has that much, and he's 14 levels ahead of me. Most of his money is tied up in equipment and stars. I'm too cheap to scroll stuff because it doesn't do mages nearly as much good as it does sins (in fact, I'm fairly sure mages get the absolute least benefit from scrolling whereas sins get the most).

Quote:

THIS IS WAY TOO MUCH DEX AND NOBODY SHOULD EVER HAVE THAT MUCH! I bolded that because it's in the middle of my post and people who need to know might not see it. Remember, every level of mastery gets you 1 more accuracy (DEX gives you like, .6, I think?), so that'll be a big help in hitting things. Also, the accuracy needed to hit a monster differs with level. Archers have tons of dex and accuracy but they still can't hit things that are many many levels higher. On that same note, very high level warriors are able to hit high level monsters while having less dex. I may be mistaken, but some people cap dex at a max of around 50 or 60. Once you've put it in, though, you can't change it. I prefer to add to strength until I find out that I can't hit something I want to train on next, then I add dex for a level or two until I can hit it 90% of the time and go pure str again.

Now, I'll let you in on another little secret of high level warriors: dex clothes. Any other class will only buy the clothes that help their main stat, and things that add to their secondary stat are not as desireable. Warriors, however, will often have 2 sets of clothes. One set is for normal training, which is usually on weaker enemies that 1) are lower levels than the warrior and 2) have tiny avoidability. The other set is for hunting higher level monsters with higher avoidability. You'll do less damage while wearing your dex clothes, but it'll help insure that you hit what you're stabbing. A big helper here are dex scrolls for gloves. If you can get some dex-scrolled work gloves or even buy 60% dex scrolls yourself and make your own gloves, you can up your dex and accuracy with those. If you have tons of money to throw around, you could have dex WGs and attack WGs, but thankfully for you dex gloves are much cheaper and you won't have the same expenses as a sin.

I've seen more. The balrog attack in Perion was ridiculous. I'm fairly sure I posted screenshots of it a while back.

And no ckj, I have an archer. He's not even level 20 yet. xD

GM Video: Super sweet. It wasn't the damage he was doing that got me, it was the mass reviving of all the players.

I'm FESB on Bera. I'm a level 24 Warrior. Went from 0-70% today. I guess I'll level tomorrow.

O_o

lol. I had a level 38 Archer when I restarted playing but I deleted him cause he was on a seperate account and I didn't want to have 2. I made a new archer though but he is a mule right now. I'll think about leveling him to 2nd job in a few weeks.

And for money, nobody helps me with anything lol. All the money on my sin is because I found stuff while playing on him. I've maybe transfered 500k at MOST to help with potions. I found all my stars in the start and such and sold them all and found 60% scrolls and stuff to pay for Kumbi's and what not.
