I finally got the Hard badge for StormWinds: The Lost Campaigns. Like 5 hours later.

Mal: Newgrounds is much more like XBL's system. and, there is no reason that multiple sites can't all have achievement systems. the way of the future. and of business. find something that works, and copy it... but tweak it enough to be somewhat new and unique.
Rubix: I thought that had been a dream... lol. I remembered someone coming in your room, then leaving right away. It seemed so odd, I figured it was a dream. But, yes... glad we could finally hang out. And the sex wasn't too bad either.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Kinda disappointed with the new Perfect Balance. One of my biggest hates is when developers get complacent and release a "new" game which only consists of new levels or just more of the same from previous games. Left a kinda bad taste in my mouth and have no real desire to optimise levels and such as with the first (or even complete it for that matter)...

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Can't even be bothered doing that. Likely to not even play it again unless it happens to get badges.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I said **** it and went through and decided to speedrun each level. Did pretty well. I still think hyperjumble's a cheating piece of ****, though.

What the heck NFD. I've never heard of anyone having a problem with lag on that game =P

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
****ing Line Game Orange is so ****ing hard to speed-attack
Your cursor goes outside just for a moment? SORRY YOU CANT TURN WE'RE GONNA MAKE YOU GO STRAIGHT INTO THE WALL SRY ****ing ****! It's somewhat easy to get all Golds... very hard to go at breakneck speed and still make it out with all powerups + successful exit without getting hit.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Got the first 7 levels pretty damn tightened down, haha. Not perfect by any means, but still pretty damn good. The last level is going to be annoying to speedrun.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I suck at the Down Below level or whatever the hell it's called.
EDIT: Come on, someone better take that.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
So this past weekend was the Flash Game Summit, the first real industry conference for flash games. In terms of meeting portal owners and game developers, it was amazing. So many cool and respected people where there, and it was an honor to be able to talk and shake hands with them.
I wanted to do something to stand out at this Summit, and realized I was going to hit the level cap here on Kong right before the event. So I set to work on making my own Kong shirt. It's very basic... and maybe slightly funny. But it definitely got noticed by people, which was the goal. Here's a picture of the shirt as well as a picture of me wearing the shirt with Greg, Alison, and Emily (sadly, Jim came down with a bit of a fever and had to leave early... feel better Jim!): Damn drunk jmtb02 taking a blurry picture with my crappy iPhone camera. I'm already looking forward to next year when we can do it all again... I'll just make sure to spend money on a hotel room in San Fran instead of crashing with an old friend in Oakland. 80 minute commutes each way with about 2 miles of walking is draining, especially when it's done each day for 3 straight days, and when the trains stop running at midnight and might leave you stranded there with nowhere to go so you have to race from the bar at 11:45, hoping not to miss the train.
