Anyway, I already explained to sunfan about the reason I claimed, but I may as well do so publicly as well.

I had been busy for the first third of the Day Phase and was rather tired for the second third; so I hadn't really done much of anything as far as discussing the game goes. Naturally, I was lost for whom to vote for; so I figured I may as well vote for myself and try to catch up later in the game.

But that didn't work out so well, considering Manti voted for me later. There being a KitB for Fiction and me didn't really help either. As I've mentioned before, Fiction is the primary reason for my playing this game; so I really wanted the opportunity to play with him. Naturally, I latched on to his vote for Charu. I wasn't sure whether Fiction was a Wolf or Human, but he hadn't said anything that caught my attention during the Google chat and because his reactions towards Kaiveran seemed genuine (I felt that as a Human, he would be more sincere in his annoyance of a Player suspecting him), and I figured I would trust in his judgement for the time being.

So by the time it neared the time for me to leave for work, there were 4 votes on Charu and 2 on me. Manti still had me as his top choice for his lynch for whatever reason and two Players (that is, Xiz and mea) had just entered the game with little time to absorb what was going on. And considering I would be gone for the last hour of the Phase and thus be incapable of defending myself or checking the situation, I figured claiming would be the safe route.


Anyway, none of you have seen how I behave as a Human (aside from Kaiveran and James May, who is being replaced and is Host, respectively) and have had a game and a Phase with me as a Wolf. My behaviour on Day 0 this game was mostly circumstantial, considering I was either busy or tired and only made a few posts to have some fun. So the little you've seen of me being serious has been primarily from the last few hours of Day 0 Phase. As a Wolf, I'm generally more collected and tend away from the spotlight; I don't like taking risks. During the last game as a Wolf, I was slow to bus James May. Likewise, I was slow to Insta Manti even after figuring out the Poker hands situation because I wanted to review my assessment so that I wasn't mistaken.
False claiming would be a major risk for me to take and I wouldn't do it as a Wolf; at least, not as early as Day 0. I would probably have contacted my Wolf Partners to keep watch of the votes while I was gone and make their best judgement of whether to bus or keep me alive.


Anyway, if any of you decide to lynch me, you had better not complain about me when I flip Doctor!!!
