Re: TWG CXXI Mis-speling BOM
I didn't know there was a subject to begin with, is the subject of me not fitting my character?
Sir, you best be trippin'! Then why on earth bring it up to explain psychoangel's statement? Sir, when you bring information in this game that's from another game, I think it can be a part of this game because you're the one mentioning it. |

Frustration is not always game-related is my point.

Felt like a time where we needed a push to go in the right direction. I want to focus blind and see if my thoughts line up with others.
Hey I'm not mean, or even rude. Hell, I'm the nicest guy I know. |

Re: TWG CXXI Mis-speling BOM
Well... your thought pretty much equates to what has been stated, so it's kind of an echo effect, really. Gradient said it, I said it, Plop said it (I think, could be wrong, haven't re-read thoroughly yet).

Re: TWG CXXI Mis-speling BOM
Sooooo Xiz laughed at Gradiant three minutes after Gradiant posted his vote on blind (139-140) and explains why at 145, then Plop puts a vote on blind at 188, and Xiz doesn't react to this until 219 and doesn't speak to Plop directly like he does with Gradiant. Plop responds to Xiz at 238 and Xiz reacts to the comic sans instead.
This kinda says Plop isn't afraid of Xiz finding him suspicious. Xiz, what's with the unequal treatment? And Plop, why is psychoangel still iffy enough to vote for despite starting to "demonstrate that she's pro-town" (239)? Xiz, what do you think of Plop moving his vote to the other player who was moving farther up your mafia list (219)? Again, you didn't respond directly to Plop for making a vote you should have found interesting. |

Re: TWG CXXI Mis-speling BOM
here are the last two non-anon xiz games
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=137832 http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...=137428&page=4 he definitely does trust his reads in his last two VT games. when he replaced into a game he didn't trust his reads d1 but idk how much time he had, but quickly into d2 he goes back to gutreads (he was human). he went balls to the wall with his reads in the "but who are ur friends really??" game. i think this sample is insignificant lets go back further http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...=136809&page=2 hmm doesn't seem to be doing it here but he's blue, and as a blue he seems way more interested in goading people than making reads and here's a wolf game http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...=135546&page=3 doesn't seem to do it at all but there's also outside communication in this thread which was not available in the others. going back any further than this is totally insignificant because his game has likely changed too much to consider 5+ months back relevant. so there you go, that's what a meta read usually tells you for all of you that swear by them

Re: TWG CXXI Mis-speling BOM
usually people behave more like their last 1 or 2 games than they do the last time they were in situation X because the amount of time between games is large and people's playstyles are usually actively developing. for the record i don't think the meta read tells us anything useful about xiz because he could easily be channeling the way he played in his last two VT games with a modicum of self-awareness so yeah i'm criticizing the use of meta reads. it's even weaker when you use meta reads without citing an example because one of the things about this game is that people behave very very differently all the time based on minor differences in the game set-up. you have way more useful information about how the person might be motivated in this thread than you do outside of it.

Re: TWG CXXI Mis-speling BOM
It's the sheer length of the silence and the number of people who rotate through viewing the current edge of discussion that interests me most. Seen a lot of charu, dbp, and xelnya over the last five hours.
