Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
At the top right hand corner of a profile, you can give someone a thumbs up if you like the profile or a thumbs down if you don't like it. Profile votes is the total number of all give votes.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Is there any way to fix the horrid frame rate of my games? I already play in stand alone but I can't usually get past 250 arrows before the whole thing messes up.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
I'm pretty sure it's Flash 10, people have told me it's horrible. I'm not 100% I have it but most likely, I'll see and if I do, downgrade. Thank you. Hopefully this will fix it.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Yeah, I just deleted Flash 10 and now I can't play bejeweled. :'( Bleh, I just can't win. I played FFR at school once and I got 12 AAAs in one hour but I can barely even get 1 on mine because of lag and frame rate. There's no going back after that experience! D:
I'll try your suggestion right now haha.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
This may sound like a simple practice more question, but how do you read bunches of jumbled up notes? Like in Horizon Remix? Thanks.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
The best way would be to raise your speed mod (Found in Settings). It takes a lot of getting used to, because the arrows come faster depending on how much you alter it (I suggest moving up by around .5-1.0 each time you get comfortable, until you reach a perfect, desirable speed for you. I personally play at 1.5X.). When you first play with a new Speed mod, your skill will most likely drop a little at first, but after you get used to seeing the arrows, your skill will return to normal, and most likely get better.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Thanks. But my reading skill sucks and I'm already playing 1.9, lol. Does anyone play at 2.5? That's probably the speed I'll be playing at by the time I'm done raising it.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
In that case, try lowering your speed mod (1.9 is considered high by most players). High speed mods are notorious for making individual arrows hard to pick out (in the old days of speed mods, when you had to pick from a list, 3x was only used as a joke).
Your eyes and fingers still need time to pick out individual notes and how they join together in the patterns you're having trouble with. 1.75 is the speed most of the best players use, with a variation of about 0.1 depending on their strengths, but in the end it's really about finding a speed you're comfortable with. |

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
I'm using C900 distant in SM which is way faster than what I'm using in FFR (x1.815). Try not to use the same speed for both because each have their own judging system and frame rate.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Thanks for all the answers. I appreciate them, but now I have another question... Why do I fail so hard at rolls and how do I get better? ._.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Play spread or switch to spread to get rolls.
Then sort of roll your fingers across the keys. |

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
That, and also you can practice doing rolls without playing FFR.
First do it on a slow BPM, then increase your tempo, after try it out on FFR, see if your hands can coop with your eyes. |

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Also another good way to get good at rolls is to do a C major scale on piano 4 octaves
or the A minor scale 4 octaves. |
