Re: TWG 150: Undertale
if we don't have a medic then my top world immediately becomes pap/dummy
the main reason I'm even considering the lack of a medic is that alphys died last night BUT I think the consensus is we expected them to roleblock alphys and kill temmie so I don't know, fuck this game |

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
Speaking of which Greg wasn't very critical of the situation in which said claim was made.
iirc he said something to the effect of "if you've got a role you better claim right now" and that was that..no further discussion, no doubt no questioning despite there being multiple reasons to do so. It's all very odd. |

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
alright well, since the humans didn't block me there are four different blocks that could have happened barring some weird quirk about roleblocking the nightkill i don't know about (@xiz?):
1. nappy plane blocks alphys- at best they waste a phase learning that there's a medic, huge waste of time 2. nappy plane blocks dummy- this is a really poor decision and since plane is the most likely roleblocker in this scenario i'm not sure how she decides that my general UTR-ness early on combined with very explicitly noting that i caught her softclaim is less of a medic tell than, idk, dummy latching on to her saying "blue check"? if anything dummy sticking very strictly to his usual town game would make her think he's bomb and him claiming vanilla at the start of this phase made her feel safe to follow through on the soft and say "btw i'm bomb" 3. mad nappy blocks alphys- greg never lets this happen lol 4. mad nappy blocks plane- at least this one would be built on solid reasoning as far as i can tell. sure i was UTR but plane posted an actual softclaim whereas i merely acknowledged one. there's a lot of WIFOMery that could go on in this situation that i think greg is more susceptible to, but ultimately he'd have to decide that me acting "normal" implies that i'm most likely vanilla. also greg totally expected RB to pull out a fakeclaim here and is disappoint and likely buttfrustrated |

I absolutely believe that greg is one of the final humans, everything is adding up for it to be true

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
mad nappy blocks me feels most reasonable especially since I cannot fathom a reason to block you over me with how overt my softclaim was

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
especially with greg as the blocker since he would of course follow it up with "idk guys I don't see how she was softclaiming at all"

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
my point exactly, it's precisely the follow-up post I'd expect from greg if he's the roleblocker

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
I've medic-tested before, and I don't consider it to be a bad play in this scenario because you don't give town an extra lynch and the cop gains no info.
I mean its better to medic test earlier in the game rather than later, but this isn't really a waste of time imo |

I guess I kind of see it now in hindsight, but I certainly did not see it beforehand. |

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
I mean yeah Undyne pointed out the softclaim, so I saw it, but I wasn't reading it as a softclaim. I was reading what Napsta said as a soft, though
