Alright, once I remake a new character, I'll add you.
It's probably going to be a bandit...Any tips on those?

My tip that nobody else will give: Do not make a banditsin. They're more expensive and more trouble than they are worth. Also, I highly recommend maxing Disorder. As a bandit with Savage Blow, you will attack in 6 separate hits, which means that any defense of the monster will be applied 6 times. Thus, Disorder (which lowers a monster's def) is 6 times more useful to a bandit.
Aside from that it's pretty simple.

I'm pretty sure it's been proven (mathematically) that luck bandits are better no matter what. Go look for youself and see if you can find the thread, but there has been discussion on it plenty before. I did hear a long time ago that later on there are nothing but str daggers and that you eventually need str, but for now just add to luck and dex.

I'm 24% to level 28. I need to start seriously thinking whether I want to go Ice or Fire. I know I'm not going cleric because I don't really like to party a lot. I'm leaning towards ice.. any suggestions?

Fire mages have more money than lightning mages. :P If you pick Ice/Lightning, you will eventually regret it and wish you could the almost 3k damage that the fire mages your level are doing. If you pick Fire/Poison, you will eventually regret it and wish that you could hit 6 things at once and that you could freeze things you're fighting.
That practically reverses in 3rd job, though. I will suddenly be very glad to do massive damage to 6 things at once, while lightning mages will be very glad to do massive damage with thunder spear. Although, F/P comp prolly does more damage over time because of the poison, but once Ludi comes out and there are a bunch of higher leveled lightning-weak monsters, I/L mages will rock. However, you said you don't like partying. Fire mages seem more like loners than ice/lightning mages. I dunno, that's just how it seems to me. Poison is pretty useless in a party, since party members won't wait 40 seconds for something to die. However, there is the lack of freezing ability, which limits your ability to solo things with magical attacks (like tauros) early on. However, fire mages that don't get poison have 11 extra points that can go on magic armor, which helps if you go solo much at all. I hope this all helps you make your decision. o__O

I don't mind not being able to hit 6 things at once. I'm a dammage fiend. I love money. I'm going with fire. Thanks EB

Just count me as cleric. And Squeek is on another world, by the way. Then there's OniSplitter that's a cleric (and they're in Bera too). Eric and MM are Ice/Lightning.
That's it I think. OH WAIT ![]() Eric and MM, you may notice those two seraphis extra I got there If you want them, talk to me in game and I'll get them to you.

Okay, so just leveled up to 28, and I've got a question. Would it be okay for me to go to orbis now? I hit for ~440 dammage each magic claw, so I figured 3 hits on pixies for 72 exp wouldn't be that bad. Plus, it looks like they give good drops.

I'm a pure int fire/psn, a pure int cleric, I have two ice/lights(not pure), and a spearman. I fit under every category?

Good luck getting anything valuable without spending lots of time there though. I got REALLY lucky with my two panlids. PS Tosh, what is the purpose of a pure int cleric? Seems kinda pointless to me.
