I saw no apology from you, and the fact that you are still pressing the issue with your "observation" shows you do want to fuss about it. They weren't D6 by our standards at the start of the tournament, and yet you keep wanting to argue they were by yours. We already heard you the first time around, there's no reason to keep bringing it up, you'll keep getting the same response.

I thought at one point I busted my way into D4, my score on the round one song was good enough for like 9th place, then the next rounds happened..

Have you not? D3 must be even wider than I thought.

Or have you just not been playing other songs?

funnily enough i was expecting to be put in d6 this tourney for some borderline scores i got during sign-ups and practiced a bunch on the ffrmania engine so i'd last a couple of rounds

I wonder if I was ever thought of as borderline D1. Unpause the heat made me question everything I thought about being in d2... XD

I supposed scores like my gaussian blur 3 pb kinda upset things, but it weirds me out to not be able to fc a lot of 40+ songs. I'm curious how you guys actually do scale the players. Like, I'm WAAAAY better at streams and speed things than I am at anything involving jumps. How do you figure out placement if a player looks like they have specializations in certain areas a lot?

They just go by your best scores regardless of what the dominant pattern in those files are. Good at streams and the R1 file has lots of bursts? GIT GUD
