Hmmm.... Flip, are you gonna add Boss Machine to the list or not?

@ CBR: My E-Mail is acting up again. I'll try tonight, okay?

Boss machine needs couple things to be fix in order to get in. Boss Machine patterns is really bad. That's all I remember since I only played it once.

If you make double stepping patterns, I won't never gonna accept that file.
Idk if you guys understand when I say double stepping.
Mostly people that play on pad should understand that really well.

The only way for me to describe you guys how to make pad patterns is while making the step, you gotta think your playing on foot too, you can't just add notes randoms. Or ask Xiaounlimited, he knows how to make patterns even though his steps are pretty hard. If you know how to make good patterns then your steps will comes out really nice that's for sure. Most simfile artist know's how to make good step patterns and if your patterns are like double stepping, you will have to fix that or else I won't accept it.

I've heard of double-stepping. Is that copy-paste-mirroresque stepping?

Double stepping is steps that require you to step twice with the same foot or do a crossover. since those are not particularly favorable patterns in any kind of stream or difficult file (though they belong sometimes, like The Beginning), its best to avoid using them.

patterns like |left down right| or |up right left| are crossovers/doublestepping.

URL isn't a double step unless you cheat UR with one foot for some absurd reason.

Crossovers =/= doublestepping - doublestepping is purely stepping twice with one foot because it's improperly patterned. Crossovers require you to turn sideways and step with both feet, and usually return; but in the end, you alternate feet, rather than cheating it with one.

Bloodrush expert on ITG2 is a good example of forced doublestepping because of the holds after the slowdown. Overusing it or even using it at all may not be a good idea.

The easiest way to make sure you have no double steps in a stream pattern is to make sure all of the right arrows are one color (e.g. all red) and the left arrows all one color (e.g. all blue). Of course if you're intentionally creating crossovers that's a different story, but this works for when you don't want to have crossovers.

oops lol i actually meant RUL (just woke up dayumn). but yeah thanks for clarifying the rest xD

ps I'd hardly define stepping twice with the same foot as cheating, you have to do it a lot if you, say, step with the wrong foot after a jump, ie. 46 jump then stepping up with the right foot would force you to double step the next right arrow.

Crossover is fine, 180 turns or gallops are also ok. I just don't want double stepping.

Bloodrush patterns is awesome people that don't use the right turns for it will use double stepping for sure.

Don't suppose my files have gotten round to being tested yet, have they? *Is slightly anxious for analysis*

And double stepping, I believe FELMO used it in its last slowdown before the super ultra jump stream using forced freezes as well. That and I think Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~ (assuming you refuse to spin) required a LOT of double stepping, especially around the beginning and the final stream.

You can have only at least one or two I don't really mind but if you seen Pro Raine Boss Machine step, You won't like it cuz a lot song double stepping and randoms. Ok this is an exception and I want you all to see why I didn't accept this file. Doesn't matter if the step looks like an index but if you make a patterns like this then I won't accept it.

Anyone who wants to see the file here.

Oh yeah go here to see the spoiler video of the pack

Here's my CDTitle... sorry I forgot about it

Also HVAM has the most amazing patterns ever if you take the time to learn them (the doubles chart especially, the singles chart is a conversion and it kinda loses its awesomeness).

The file itself is not bad (it would make a decent keyboard chart). It's just that the patterns are absolutely horrible for pad.
