Re: Nocilol
Actually it's marked as 14.
Also, what does "UN rights violation" mean, in respect to an age of consent? I don't quite get that. |

You are being far too technical and failing at it. It would be a better argument to say that image files are only files stored on a hard disk, and all they really are, are many many tiny switches set to "on" or "off" positions, which are translated through your computer, operating system, and specific program to be porn. This means that our computers should be illegal, or at least the programs we use to view porn. After all, they interpret certain files as porn, which can sometimes be illegal. My alarm clock is never going to interpret a series of on-off switches as porn. |

Re: Nocilol
Probably that the laws there are either nonexistant (And thus what the UN would term human rights abuses are taking place [ie. genital mutilation, frequent sodomy and rape of children under 10 etc]) Or that the laws are somehow in violation of UN dictated rules and regulations regarding such laws.

But really. Your sight only sees what it can pick up, so [let's go back to when we were seven-year-olds and afraid of the dark] what if there really IS a monster floating above your head in the middle of the night when you cannot see it? You could feel it if you reached out to touch it [assuming it didn't fly / float away or something], you might hear it, maybe even smell it, but you could not see it. You know it is there, but your eyes can't always confirm what your other senses can. So why trust sight all the time? Back on topic. Lolicon is fine with me [and, I must say, from the little I've seen of it, the artists are quite good with hands and skin texture, which is praiseworthy in it's own right]. If you don't like it, don't look at it. Simple as that. |

Re: Nocilol
If people like child porn, they want to see child porn. If child porn is illegal, they will find a way around it. This is their way of getting around watching real children that are posing illegally. People can choose to look at these kind things or not, so if they want to, I don't see why they should not be able to. No one is getting hurt over drawn pictures. No one seems to have a problem with Hentai, and there is absolutely nothing different between Lolikon and Hentai.

Re: Lolicon
The artists are doing what they like to do, and if it is harmful, it's only harmful to those people who choose to look at those artists' work. Throwing them in prison would be like throwing the director of a horror movie in prison because the movie gave some little kids who chose to watch the movie nightmares. It is completely by decision that a person be effected by lolikon.
