Re: The Riddle Thread
Here are some brain-teasers.
1. What is so special about the number 8,549,176,320? This is the only number of its kind. What makes it different from every single number? 2. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching! 3. Four cars come to a four way stop, all coming from a different direction. They can't decide who got there first, so they all go forward at the same time. They do not crash into each other, but all four cars go. How is this possible? 4. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be? And finally: 5. There is a man dead in a locked office, sitting at his desk. On the desk there are a couple of pieces of blank paper, a pen and a sealed envelope. The office is locked from the inside. No-one has directly killed him. How was he killed? |

Re: The Riddle Thread
A man walks into a bar and asks for a glass of water. The bar tender pulls out a gun and points it to the mans head. The man thanks him and walks out. Why?

He had the hiccups. The bartender pulled the gun to scare him, thus curing his ailment.

Re: The Riddle Thread
I got a great one:
There's a man lying down attempting to kill himself in the middle of an intersection, with nothing but a completely black suit and a black mask. All streetlights and stoplights are broken around the intersection. A car comes speeding down the road directly towards the man, but at the last second swerves out of the way and fails to hit him. The cars lights were also not working. How does the car manage to miss him?
