2nd song in the 7th set is Carry Me Home. That and Psychobilly Freakout are a pain in the ass on expert. I still havent 5 starred Psychobilly Freakout, although I think my highest score is only like 2k off, which I should get with less notes missed easily. And Freebird owns. |

I has guitar Hero II now.
Awesome game so far, about an hour into it. Unlocked the 4th batch in career mode now. First thing I bought was the song "Jordan" just because I love the tune so much.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Completed story on on medium, only one or two song missed a 5 star score. Awesome end though, got well into the final encore song lol, even if it was like 7 minutes long.
Gunna 5 star those other songs and hit story on career tomorrow.

Beat Expert without problems, 5-starred BatH and Misirlou on later tries.
My arm really hurts now, too much Misirlou >_>

Anyone else think the skill leap from Medium to Hard is huge? I played through Medium really quite easily. Now I can't even 5 star any of the first set in hard. I've been in practice a lot today lol. Edit wait no got 5 stars for Mother.

Uh skill jump from Medium to Hard is way bigger than from Hard to Expert.
WAY bigger.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
On some songs (Surrender, Chery Pie), there seems to be very little leap. On some though, it's gigantic. Also, beat Jordan on hard my 2nd try. I find Freebird to be harder just due to it's length.

Jordan Hard > Expert is a huge leap, but that's the only truly gigantic one I can think of.
Maybe Misirlou too.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Medium to hard is a bigger leap by far. Your introducing the orange like, you have to learn hand positions and finer places where as before you where cool with your 4 fingers. You got to move about.

6 away from the log...Rock This Town, Carry Me Home, Psychobilly Freakout, YYZ (still only played once ever), Institutionalized, and Hangar 18 left. All are, thankfully, at 4-star.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Six on hard to Six on expert is a good leap too.
I bought GH1 yesterday.. it totally sucks compared to GH2. I liked the song lists, but the HOPO mechanic just really killed the game for me. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Proving my point. Any game where you have to cause yourself physical pain in order to play is no longer a game, it is work / stupidity. Guitar Hero 1 was done right, Guitar Hero II failed.
