Re: FFR's Next Polymath
He'll sometimes stick something hidden in, or a hint here and there for points, but ends up removing it after a while... Not going into specifics unless you want me to PM you, ha ha.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
that's because the restrictions are pretty dumb and serve only to nerf me. *shrugs*.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
lol. 1066 points for Triangles. . survived for 426.4 seconds or a little over 7 minutes. also beat indestruct2tank... i assume you mean adventure mode by what you said. but i've beaten classic too. also SSed my line rider times for 1000 points. you realize the max possible points for RF2 is 363.7, right? 909260/2500. And, you know I was the first person to ever max score RF2? yup yup... SSd. So, that makes 3 max scores and 1 insane Trianges score. Will have my keyboard setup in a few minutes for you.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
no... trust me. i was the 1st person to FC RF2. just look at the armorgames.com high score list (which is where that SS is from). my name is 1st. rubix's is like 4 or 5 up.
ps - this is too good not to post here: my keyboard: It's design is specifically for FFR/SM/4-keyed rhythm gaming. It has 2 different 4-keyed setups. It allows for standard keyboard play as well as a standard spread set-up. All of this, without the hassle of a full keyboard or annoying other keys getting in your way. Plus, the nifty FFR logo branded on it (FFR Guy image not included in prototype paint image). Why is it better? It's portable, able to attach to laptops and on-the-go travel, and as I said... playability without annoying extra keys getting in your way.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
what about typing?
Edit: Ah. Attached to laptop. Well, that's not what I mean: I mean a permanant keyboard not a detachable one. Sorry.

otherwise, i really like mine as a secondary keyboard. USB plug-in, so you can use it with a desktop... but primary function is for a laptop, which has issues registering 3 or 4 keypresses at once, plus usually has smaller keys. this will give laptop users the full FFR/SM experience. you can't possibly tell me you wouldn't want one for your laptop use. you could play on airplanes, in the car, etc etc. it'd be bangin'. edit: seriously dude. if you're running a "mental" aspect of a tournament, expect people to think outside of the box in regards to the question you ask. why on earth would i give you a cookie cutter response to a mental question. that's bull****. my answers will always be original and creative, because THAT is what should lead to higher points out of the 500. the cookie-cutter answers should be giving 100 or 200, if that. like the hot pink arrow. stupid. we already have a pink arrow. i'm getting seriously pissed off at how you look at mental responses. typical is bad... unique is good. the fact that you didn't like my mouse essay was abominable. That essay is priceless. Unique, funny, takes a question you asked and answers it a completely different way from what you expected, etc. I'd bitch more about it, but you gave me full points for it, as you should. don't forget that i've gone through multiple creative writing and essay writing classes in college... as well as way more response questions/essays in other college classes. professors get bored of reading the same responses 40 times... you stand out from the crowd when you give them something new and different. edit2: permanent keyboard and not detachable? that isn't even possible on a desktop! all desktop keyboards are plug-ins.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
Tass you're on crack, I totally FC'd fireworks before you, hence your name Tass++ Rubix--. The first person to do it was technically that Anthony fellow, then I came 2nd, and some X-person, I think "Xios"? was third and you were in there not too far afterward. Anthony and I also FC'd RF2 and had our names up there a few times. I know this because I assigned RF2 for my tournament! On Newgrounds, the description at the time stated that only one person had gotten the high score (at the time, Anthony). I made another post somewhere in that thread the moment I got the FC.
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/reviews/409849/17 found it Also a weird glitch: It's possible to get one arrow over the max combo. I haven't done it yet but sometimes, when starting a new game, I'd had it happen twice so far where an extra arrow pops in before arrow #1's supposed to drop down. No idea what causes this, but I wonder if that glitch has since been fixed? Last edited by QuadDamage; 03-12-2008 at 03:31 AM.. |

However, my "mental" is not meant for "thinking out of the box" (at least not this one) I mean for you to be creative. I guess you could add a plug-in keyboard if you're content with the one you have now, and that would be completely vaid...
