ok replayed IHt80s and it's honestly a tossup imo between which is easier, bullshitting with the quad or hitting as is
I think the best strat if you're having trouble with that section is trying to hit the pattern as intended but aiming for the early perfect window, taking into account that three of the jump sandwiches play as 300bpm OH minitrills instead of the intended 266. And if you have trouble aiming for a specific window, change your judge offset to push your regular middle perfect window slightly earlier.
this caused me a ton of trouble, jumpjack patterns always did cause me issues
decent sightread, pretty much AAA'd everything except the 24th stream which I kinda derped on anyway
also I had to give in, I had to do it, I spent ages trying to fiddle about with my screen's RGB to try and make this easier. In the end I thought 'screw this' used r^3 and bam, that's all 1-63 AAA'd
now i'll go back to legacy until I need r^3 again, maybe it'll be useful on flight of the bumblebee or any other stupid file I can't do

Reason: Turns out it's only natural is a 64 not a 65, so its 1-63 AAA'd
o.O Closest I've ever been to Scarhand. I guess SM hiatus = success?
Some honorable mentions for getting nearer:
Everything in this feels doable, just will take the urn.
The only thing that tripped me up were the 32nd bursts that transition into the slow/quiet parts.
Getting exponentially better at this file. Went from ~125g down to 23-0-1-0 last month and now this.
Random much improved score on a little harder song. Used to have ~60g
I've felt for a while that speed and stamina were slowing me down quite a bit. I was pretty sure I was technically understanding the patterns but just couldn't keep up or sustain. I guess all the Icy JS files and random dump stuff has increased my stamina quite a bit. Something clicked today, idk how but I went from a 75% B on Gate Openerz to a 96% AA and from an 86% A on Shining Polaris to a 98% AA, so I'm finally getting to that D5 stamina level. ^^
