You're right, members should be noticed by their devotion but not when it comes to their skills. Not trying to be mean but jakedasnake45638, you say that you've been here for quite a long time, since '06. What have you done for the community? If you were devoted to the site you would spend your time browsing throughout it, observing every corner hoping to help in anyway. You have three forum posts. Just playing the game for years is for your own amusement, not a devotion. Now, don't take everything personally but it doesn't seem like your entirely devoted.

Besides, like s0ulst0ne said, if you're really devoted to playing, your skills would escalade.

Reading the above posts, I think I'm counted as an 'Elite' because of my devotion to the site. I always ask around and poke and prod the higher officials of the site for jobs to do, and to try to help to the extent of my own abilities.

I've been mentioned once in this thread, haha.
