the number of girls that i know that ddr is: 2. i know both of em and there pretty nice. hopefully one of them is just as good as me so i can challenge them to a game.

As long as you're friends with the person, why wouldn't it be fun? Heck if they're a solid standard player and you're trying to learn new songs on heavy you can have them keep you alive. I haven't met a standard player that minds doing that yet.

And uh, playing DDR to pick up women is sad, I'm sorry. =\

I only know one girl who plays DDR. She works at arcade with the only DDR machines in the city. She can do most standard songs.

At the arcade I go to, there are alot of girls their who DDR, and they kick ass! I played versus mode with one and she was playing on Maniac and I was playing on Trick (forgot what song it was though :P) and she AAA'd and I got a C...um yeah you get the picture.

I also hate it when people stereotype and say DDR and Video Games are for boys only.
