You can jump trill pretty much anything in FFR lol. Or actually roll if you want a little more MA but lolwhy. Also how is D7 gonna work? Do I need to improve or is it basically free until final round?

Basically free for D7 except Josemba is going to be joining you guys as a third for D7 (I know, late request to join but he's a bro and D7 doesn't have constricting Elims since there would only be three players)

As for the pattern, I try to jumptrill/manipulate the patterns as best as I can but the intro into that janky wall is where I mess up and I cannot cheat that pattern at all

Also I'd make D7 cumulative, it'd be kinda dumb if I could get away with submitting 1 note or mashed passing scores until the final round and not be penalized at all for it (which is totally what I will do)

Noted, yeah D7 and D1 will be cumulative (curious if D4 fits in that category with only 4 people) for only having 3 participants in those divisions and it fairs off the playing field nicely.

Imagine if D5.5 didn't exist right now

That's 16 players, with the highest Skill Rating being 7,698 and the Lowest at 6,528

Now look again and tell me that splitting D5 wasn't the best option for fairness Another tournament host suggested the idea because I was opposed at first but looking at the logistics of the idea because skill rating system is still broken in some ways, this increases fairness as marginally as possible.

EDIT: Speaking of fairness, ULTIMEGA is currently in thoughts about bumping up due to recent scores and also being D6 on LBs, however he was placed in D5.5 because of reasons.

Yeah, I can agree with a possible bump due to having a AAA on FN and good scores on harder difficulty songs. But because of that, I don't REALLY feel worthy of D6 just yet since I still haven't obtained Scarhand, despite getting close SEVERAL times on multiple files within the set difficulty range.

So for now, a fair 5.5 rating is good for me since Frictional Nevada was obtained on a good day way back a couple years ago when I managed four FMO AAA's consecutively. This was before I switched over to flat keys, which is part of the main reason for my sudden boost in skill in recent weeks.

So I still don't think I'm D6 material YET, but I feel relatively close to it.
