TWO THOUZAND COMBO
|
Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
2362 notes, 320 BPM, obviously a 6.
You decide whether it's above or below Revo.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Probably above...I can actually handle Revo up to the jacks, but I'm going to need a rabbit's foot or something to consistently get a 100+ combo on GGC.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Yeah, popular opinion seems to be saying put it between OMW and Revo.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I'd consider putting it above OMW, for the reasons mentioned in the BB thread:
-2600 notes vs 1100 (aprox) -200ish bpm jumpstream and jacks throughout the file, making the majority of it un-comboable OR paable for 98.569234503% of the players vs 240bpm stream with a few trills and a few minijacks -easier start for the 1st 300 notes or so vs extremely easy segment in the middle of about 100 notes with a fairly easy to combo trill segment afterward. rest of both files extremely difficult to combo.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I would actually say GGC and OMW are tied. Each has it's own unique characteristics but they're still both extremely difficult files, regardless of how different they are. I'm better at GGC though...it flows better.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Yeah this isn't harder than OMW, it's much easier to combo...put it right above Revo I think.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I think it needs a lot of tries to really judge GGC, but I can't right now.
so I'll use shash's info about it. yea hard to tell which is harder among OMW, Revo. LW4 may harder than Hellbeat, but I don't think harder than FOTBB, the main reason is it has no long stream. |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
In my opinion, GGC is no way as hard as OMW, since I just tried it to see how hard it is. This keyboard sucks, so I missed 360, which should have probably been about 80, but this keyboard can't keep up with me, so it thinks I'm pressing nothing when I'm pushing the keys way too fast. Anyway, I don't even think I could pass OMW on this keyboard, because it is so hard. I guess I'll go try that.
Edit: Okay, so on this horrible keyboard, I got 175 misses, on OMW, since it couldn't keep up with me that badly, which is way more misses/second than GGC. To me, GGC just seems so much more readable, and handleable by indexers.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
OMW is harder than Revo.
If you disagree then you aren't good enough to tell the difference, no offense. As for GGC...I think OMW is harder, because GGC has far more easily combo-able sections.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
This thread proves how inaccurate some of the in-game song ratings are.
Aside from that, the ratings in this thread are highly accurate. Understanding that 1 year is still fairly n00bish, The songs that I once believed were very challenging (Nova Pulser) are not so hard anymore.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
force of light is very challenging, not challenging. the middle is some definite master material with 8th note jumps and notes which are tricky enough to read but even harder to hit. i always come out with 10-20 misses (no laughing). nova pulser should also be promoted 1 notch, i have never succesfully cleared the song with 100+ combo, always end up at about 95, and got to 99 once. everything else is fine.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
everyone has specific songs that they aren't good at.... that doesn't mean that in general, they aren't fairly, if not extremely, accurate in terms of the general population.
i doubt anyone will agree 100% with the placement of every song... but we're also not going to adjust based on 1 persons opinion on 1 or 2 songs. these things have been discussed very heavily over a long period of time by people of vastly varying skill levels. they are as accurate as they will ever be.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
(D) Story of Snowman and Sunshine Girl (535 Notes / BPM 142)
(D) 136.6 (555 Notes / BPM 136) (H) Shag (518 Notes / BPM 75) Personally I think these three need to be reordered to (D) 136.6 (555 Notes / BPM 136) (H) Shag (518 Notes / BPM 75) (D) Story of Snowman and Sunshine Girl (535 Notes / BPM 142) Dunno, Im really good at gay offbeat songs, but SSSG is pretty much the most retarted of the three. Anyone else agree?

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
136.6 was harder for me to AAA than shag... mostly because of the 2 or 3 long slow jack sections and the weird gallops near the end.
sssg is definately the hardest of the 3. SO MANY long slow jack sections.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Yea SSSG is by far the hardest offbeat song..
easy passing/FC but really hard AAA. as for other 2, both have similar total notes and length, and total difficulty.. so 136.6 vs Shag (1) # of AAA : 11 - 8 (2) TOP25 : 5 goods - 4 goods (3) Taps/sec : 3.17 - 2.40 OK I'll put 136.6 higher. One part of FOL is hard, but this isn't enough for making it 5 since other parts are basically simple 145bpm stream. The middle part of Party4U is even harder (plus BG), but it's 4.5 for the same reason. I'm not adding Captain Jack since it's a temporary song, it's high 4 if counted.
