If you do get Random 1 vs 1 matchups, the song will be the same for the entire division.

are the scores going to be based on total score (like basically you win if you have higher combo) or are they based on some variation of adding up the (1,2,3,4) thing?

Just request a position (most likely freshman) and they will place you according to your stats (again, most likely freshman)
