Today's update: Link's special moves.

He still has all of the same moves as in Melee, but the boomerang is now the Gale Boomerang, and apparently drags the target toward you a bit if it hits on its way back to you.

Also, his Hookshot is now the Clawshot, and you can use tether recovery with it, like in Melee. However, unlike Melee, it now hones in on the nearest ledge, making it substantially easier to aim with.

Basically they nooblifield the chain grab. I wonder if you'll still be able to do "Death from above" with link :P

Both death from above and below should be in Brawl because in Twilight Princess one of Link's final moves was jumping on the enemy and stabbing him. (Not sure what the move is really called, I haven't played TP for 3 months).

Today's update: The Subspace Army.

Basically a bunch more info on the new baddies, called the Subspace Entity. There's a 1-minute video showing their arrival, with a weapon called a Subspace bomb in tow. Apparently, when this bomb explodes, a portion of the world is engulfed by Subspace. I'm sure you can guess the goal of the antagonists now.

No more wavedashing....thats pretty cool......

I didnt find out about wavedashing until a few days before going to a tourney in december...its not exactly fair since its quite difficult to find out by accident, I mean you can come across it once or twice but thats pretty much it...It was sad since I use luigi and I beat good players there who wave dash with a non wave dashing luigi....thank god its not in brawl

Though for wave dashing to exist sakurai has to go out of his way to make it so.

Well, if he went out of his way the first time, it wouldn't be considered a glitch.

I think glitches are fine in games and should be kept in competitive play unless they do something EXTREMELY unfair, such as jumping off a cliff and causing your opponent to lose automatically.

But really, I'm fine as far as these movement glitches and stuff like that go.
