Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
Do you just add the tiers of the cards together that you want to trade to the house to get the tier of the new card that you will get? In my case, would trading my tier 3 and tier 7 card give me a tier 10 card?

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
No. Two different Tier 3 token cards would form a Tier 4 card.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
But I had a 3 and a 7. You're saying a tier 3 and tier 7 won't work? Normal cards have to be the same tier to trade just like token cards?

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
No no. Normal cards are completely different from token cards. Normal cards if you want to trade up, you go by value. If you wanted a normal Tier 8 card, you would need a combined 5000 value for cards under tier 8.
Token cards have no value assigned to them, so you do what we call fusing. Two different token cards of the same tier will fuse together to form a certain card. If you were to fuse your two Tier 5's right now, you'd trade them in for a predetermined Tier 6 card.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
Ohhh I see now, so I can trade 3 T8 cards for a T9 card. The table in the first post works for house trading. I got confused since I know you can sell your cards in a different thread and thought that table was for that. I get it now, I appreciate the clarification.

Oh you can sell here instead. We killed that thread a while ago.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
Oh ok, I see that now. I didn't actually open that old thread yet to read that selling is done here now since I wanted to clarify before selling. Glad I did
So it seems like you might as well sell your normal cards as soon as you get them, then? If my reasoning is correct, there isn't really any other use for normal cards other than selling, so if you traded up to the maximum tier and then sold your card(s), you will end up with the same (or about the same) credit value anyways since you would have one or two big cards as opposed to a bunch of small value cards. Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
If you do decide to sell some of your normal cards, I'll buy 3 of them tomorrow. :3 (I learned today that there is a 3 card limit per day that you can buy from someone lol)

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
There's actually a tournament going on right now using these cards. There will also be future events that will involve the usage of these cards.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
So then I guess it would be impossible to know which cards you would want to keep if their future use is unknown. Oh well, if this event is ongoing, it won't matter since you could accumulate a bunch of cards. At any rate, I really just want more credits so I can get the purchased and secret songs that I need to play to unlock PianoCore, so I'll just end up selling all of my cards and might as well just sell them as soon I get them since it wouldn't matter to me either way as I have no current plans to use them further.
Jtehanonymous: Sure, I can sell you some cards tomorrow. By the way, the first post still says to sell your cards in that other thread if you look right above the rarity table. Perhaps someone should change that to avoid confusion (I realize now that's why I originally thought a few posts ago that you could sell your cards in a different thread). Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
Seems to me most people are keeping certain cards like you would keep cards irl. Songs that you like, rare cards etc.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
This challenge can go straight to hell. Highest AAA is 56. Just realized 0 boos on all. I'm surprised with the last one because I was becoming desperate. Now I need to find the button that flew off my keyboard when I hit it for the 15th time trying this. Last edited by scoper49; 06-11-2015 at 02:43 PM.. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
Yeah I'm not going for the second token pack. 90's are hard enough as it is without hidden turned on.
That being said this third score was pretty surprising. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
No it really didn't make it any easier. That's why I skipped the boo challenge from last week. I simply can't intentionally hit boos if there's not an arrow there and with this hidden mod.. There aren't any freaking arrows at all by the time they hit the line so my brain doesn't register to even mash. On some of my other attempts when the arrows get too clustered and I did mash it just forced a miss because I was off beat on hitting anything.
And hey badman, you unwrapped a token pack for this challenge for me yesterday and then opened two more for doing the above AAA today. As much as I want the extra cards, thought I'd say something. Last edited by scoper49; 06-11-2015 at 04:26 PM.. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
Looks like apparently I'm good enough for 2 token packs.
Best AAA = 73 was NOT expecting this good of PA on this one.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C22)
I know I could have 10 boos total but being able to mash through a section, i.e., get boos, didn't help me at all. Every time I would mash instead of hitting accurately just forced me into getting off beat and missing.
