Re: The Fitness Thread
I recently had the luck to train myself with a friend of mine and not only do gymwork, but also practice martial arts, specifically Systema RMA. Basically the lessons are always with 2-3 people excluding me and it's like having a personal trainer. And i'm getting it for free!

Re: The Fitness Thread
You look unreal lean. Hopefully you're finished your cut though, because at this point it would be beneficial to your health if you put on some body fat.

also marked my second week of gym flow today. feeling better about going now and its becoming less intimidating this time around. maybe because i want it more than in the past. seems about right.

Re: The Fitness Thread
Rubix, forget the gym membership. Nature is my gym and it's free.
I'm living in the Bronx now, and there is no way I'm paying any of these gym memberships. I bike to work regularly (although not this week, too much snow). Hiking, climbing, biking, etc. Once you have the gear, it's free. Actually, that's a lie. Then you become a gear junkie and you can't stop buying shit....

Re: The Fitness Thread
I'm in Riverdale and it's quite nice...right across the street from a park. My dog is happy.
I bike the south county trailway to Yonkers, where I work. Lots of bike paths in the area, which is great. |

Re: The Fitness Thread
Down 20 pounds and a few waist sizes since I started actively losing; currently 145lb at a towering 5'4''. Calorie restriction has been easier than I expected, but it takes time to fix shitty habits. I weighed 180 when I left high school, and I haven't been this small in ~8 years.
Maybe I'll post some beginner manlet gains if I start lifting. |
