Remixes go into classical, eh?
I would have made it secret or purchased just because of the difficulty in putting it into a genre, as classical doesn't really describe it. Good song. Steps seemed a bit overdone, but I can see why people would like it that way.

If it was called something besides "Classical Insanity", we probably would have put it somewhere else.
But with a name like that, and with it being a big classical remix...we figured Classical was the best place for it.

Also, I don't see how this is overstepped in any way, besides perhaps the very beginning and the very end (like 4 measures total or something). I ignored a whole bunch of non-melody 16ths in the music because I thought stepping them was unnecessary...almost all (if not all) of the 16ths I used were melody, and IMO putting steps to melody can never be considered overstepping.

Even though you missed a few notes, this simfile is easily one of the best in the game.

That was diffucult... the doubles that occurred every beat prevented me from getting any significant combo, as I get overloaded if there is a double more than 1 per measure (SOMETIMES I can do 2, but it has to be going a bit slower.)

during the runningmen, the melody is this:
![]() in the background, there is a trill: ![]() but there is no runningman to speak of, unless you combine the trill and the melody, which is weird for your ears. |

Classical Insanity was well beyond my ability to play well, but the music sounds nice (I think I'd enjoy it more if I heard it alone). I was able to hit a few of the simplest parts, but for the most part I was mashing through it. I didn't pass it, but I'm pretty sure I managed to get into the Flight of the Bumblebee section, which was close to the end. Maybe with some luck, I'll manage to mash my way through to the end and pass it, but I'll still stink at it, probably for a long time. These are the kind of songs I play and force through just to get a non-zero score and a rank that's not dead last. I'm glad that a break in the constantly increasing difficulty is coming soon. I'll enjoy seeing an easier song or few that I have a better chance at playing well.

How come? Doesn't seem weird to me at all. The MUCH more audible 8th notes combined with the lighter 16ths from the trill seems to create a perfect situation for a running man, at least in my eyes.

well, it is a stylistic point I suppose... but like you said, the eighths are much more audible, and I probably would have just done them and forgot about the background.
